What pheromone is in Feliway® and is this safe for humans?
The pheromone in Feliway® is a synthetic copy of the familiarisation facial pheromone that cats use to mark objects in their environment. The actual concentration of pheromone in the air at any one time is tiny and as pheromones are species-specific, the feline pheromone in Feliway® will have no effect on humans.
