Active ingredients: ivermectin(15.5g/kg)+praziquantel(77.5g/kg) Treat & Controls: Large & Small Strongyles, Ascarids, Pinworms, Summer Sores, Lungworms, Hairworms, Large-Mouth Stomach Worms, Neck Threadworms and Intestinal Threadworms. Also controls one species of Tapeworm (Anoplocephala perfoliata) in the adult stage only. One syringe will treat one horse of 600kg liveweight. Suggested Parasite Control Program: All horses should be included in a regular parasite control program with particular attention paid to mares, foals and yearlings. Foals should be treated initially at 6 - 8 weeks of age, & routine treatment repeated as appropriate. Eqvalan Gold paste is highly effective against gastrointestinal, cutaneous and pulmonary nematodes, tapeworms, & bots of horses. Regular treatment will reduce the chances of verminous arteritis and colic caused by S. vulgaris. Safety: Ivermectin and praziquantel have a wide safety margin at the recommended dose level. They may be used in horses of all ages. Mares may be treated at any stage of pregnancy. Stallions may be treated without adversely affecting their fertility. This product is not registered to control the following species & stages of tapeworm: Anoplocephala perfoliata - Immature worms, heads & segments.
