Having a major fore leg open wound that I am still treating and treating leg injuries on and off for the past 40yrs. I am really disappointed in this product for the price. It does not hold it's structural integrity at all. I would call it more cotton wool than "fleece". The "Padding or cotton wool" moves around within the fabric and bunches particularly over the sterile dressing area. I also found it very hard to work with, with quite a bit of debri (cotton fluff). Would I recommend this product for an open injury? Absolutely not. I have attached photos of the three different products I have used so you can compare for yourself.
I used the dressing roll for padding protection over a leg wound my horse sustained. We used this product for 6 weeks under bandaging and it provided great protection.
Perfect for protecting horses leg wounds before bandaging.
a must have for bandaging!!
