1. How to order.

Placing an order with Vet-N-Pet Direct is simple. Simply use the category headings to locate the product/s you are after or use the search function located at the top of each page. When you find an item you are interested in, click on 'Add to Cart' or 'More info' which will take you to the detailed product information page. The detailed product information page provides more information on the product and allows you choose various options for the product such as colour and/or pack size where applicable. The price displayed for the item will change according to the option/s selected. When you have selected the appropriate options, simply enter the quantity you wish to purchase and then click on 'Add to Cart'. You can view the contents of your shopping cart at anytime by clicking 'View Cart' at the top of the page.

You are able to update quantities and delete items whilst viewing your cart.

 

2. How to complete an order (checkout).

When you are finished shopping at Vet-N-Pet Direct, simply click on 'Checkout' in the 'Your Cart' area located at the top right of the page. You will then be guided through the checkout and payment process. You can cancel or change your order at any time prior to submitting your payment information.

Total costs, including shipping costs are displayed prior to any payment information being submitted to Vet-N-Pet Direct.

 

3. Payment methods.

Vet-N-Pet Direct accepts a variety of different payment methods including:

Credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express
PayPal;
Cheque/Money Order (Australian Customers Only);
Bank Deposit (Australian Customers Only);
Telephone/Fax with your credit card details

All payments must be made in Australian funds. All credit cards will be charged in Australian funds.

 

4. Currency.

All prices shown on www.vetnpetdirect.com.au are in Australian Dollars and all payments must be made in Australian dollars. All payments debited to your credit card will be in Australian dollars.

5. Shipping Charges for Australian Orders.

All orders for Australian customers are dispatched using Australia Post's e-Parcel system. This provides tracking information for your parcel and also requires a signature on delivery.

Shipping charges are determined by the total weight of your order. Please refer to the following for the applicable shipping rates:

Orders weighing 0 - 1kg: $6.95 per order to anywhere in Australia.
Orders weighing 1kg - 3kg: $9.95 per order to anywhere in Australia.
Orders weighing over 3kg are charged at a flat rate of $9.95 per order, plus a per kilogram rate of $1.10 per kilogram

Free Shipping is available for Australian Orders only under 3kg in weight and over $149 in value.

Orders can also be collected from our Jimboomba warehouse. You will be notified when your order is ready for collection.

Shipping weights includes the net weight of the product and any associated packing material.

The total shipping weight and applicable shipping charge will be displayed at checkout prior to you submitting any payment information.

 

6. Shipping Charges for International Orders.

Three alternative shipping methods are available for international customers.
Regular Airmail (Uninsured), Regular Airmail (Insured) and Express Courier International. Airmail has an average delivery time of 7-10 working days ( not including weekend days and public holidays) but can be longer to some destinations.
Express Courier International has an average delivery time of 3-5 working days depending on destination.

Shipping charges are as follows:
Airmail (Insured): $13.50 per order, plus $20 per kilogram.
Express Courier International (Insured): $35.00 per order, plus $20 per kilogram.

Shipping weight includes the net weight of the product and any associated packing material.

The total shipping weight and applicable shipping charge will be displayed at checkout prior to you submitting any payment information.

 

7. Dispatch.

The majority of orders are generally dispatched within 24 to 48 hours following receipt of payment for your order.
You will be notified of any item that is expected to take longer than 72 hours to dispatch (excluding weekend days and public holidays).

Customers have the option of cancelling any part of their order that has been placed on back order with our suppliers.
Any products subsequently supplied from back order are shipped at the expense of Vet-N-Pet Direct and no additional shipping charges are incurred by the customer.

 

8. Returns.

9. Customer Reward Points.

10. How to Use a Coupon Code.

If you have received a coupon code to use for a discount in our store you will need to enter this coupon code prior to completing the checkout process for the store to be able to calculate your discount correctly.
Add the items you require to your shopping cart and then commence the checkout process. You will find the Coupon Code box on the final Review & Submit page of the checkout process directly below the shipping method selector. You only need to enter the coupon code once and then the store will automatically apply the applicable discount to your order total. Please be sure to enter the coupon code into the Coupon Code box, not the Gift Certificate box. At present we can only accept one discount coupon code per order.

 

11. Can I add something to my order?

Unfortunately we are unable to add additional items to an existing order once it has been submitted. Due to the automated nature of our warehouseing and dispatch system once an order has been submitted it is closed to all changes to ensure efficient processing and delivery. 12. Can I cancel something from my order?

Unfortunately, we are unable to access your order to cancel items once it has been submitted. Upon submission the order is closed to all changes to ensure efficient processing and delivery. When your order arrives, please send the item that you no longer require back to us, and we will arrange a refund. If the item you wish to cancel is on backorder, please let us know the item name and we will cancel this for you. To contact us, click here.
