***Controls Unwanted Barking***

The Husher is a very simple but effective training aid. It is made from stretchable elastic, with webbing around the elastic to limit the expansion of the dog's snout. The elastic exerts a firm yet humane pressure around the snout, similar to that applied by a canine pack leader to maintain dominance. As the dog goes to bark whilst wearing the Husher, the controlled expansion of training aid tires the muscles very easily. After a few short barks, dogs find it easier and less tiresome not to exhibit nuisance behaviour. This amount of pressure though still allows your pet to breathe (from both the front and back of the mouth), pant, drink and eat with ease. The neck strap is attached to the elastic and webbing at three points, which makes it very difficult for the dog to remove the Husher. The straps are attached to a buckle which clips at the back of the dog's head. Available in 9 sizes as per below (but for best sizing please click on the sizing and measuring chart in the detailed images above) 00:Chihuahua

Barking Problems... Solved!

Your dog may bark for a variety of reasons. If your dog is acting uncontrollably, behaving badly, and barking for your attention, The HusherTM is here to help!

Different Barking Situations
•Playfulness
•Attention seeking
•Barking at cars or in traffic
•Barking while interacting with other animals
•Barking while out for a walk
•Boredom
•Stress
•Over-excitement
•Anxiety
•Neighbourhood disturbances
•Pedestrians and general public

Barking At Dogs
If your dog barks at other dogs while you are out walking, you can prevent this barking behaviour by using The Husher. You can also help reduce your dog's aggressive, fearful or excitable behaviour when around other animals by preventing eye contact between them. Train your dog to focus on you in these situations and reward your dog when it behaves calmly in the presence of other dogs.

Barking at People
Dogs commonly bark at people entering their territory. The HusherTM will prevent excessive barking at neighbourhood disturbances, cars and pedestrians. Remember to reward your dog's quiet behaviour whenever possible. If you have any concerns that your dog may be aggressive towards people you should seek expert help.

Barking When Left Alone
If your dog barks when left alone, The HusherTM may be effective in reducing or stopping this barking. Many dogs bark when alone because they are bored or because they are stressed and want to communicate with their family. It is preferable to treat these issues in addition to using The HusherTM.

The HusherTM can help to also reduce other unwanted behaviours apart from barking, including aggression, biting and stress. Because dogs bark for many different reasons, it is important to understand why your dog is barking and you may be able to stop or reduce the barking much faster. If your dog does seem to be in physical or psychological pain, visit your veterinarian for advice.

The HusherTM is scientifically proven to be 100% Humane!

CAUTION
Do not leave your dog unattended while wearing the HusherTM until you are certain it can pant and drink properly. Check your dog regularly.

My Lab could remove it in 30secs, no matter how tight is was. Eventually chewed it to bits. Not worth it for a lab.

Shelties bark a lot. As with any new training aid you have to get the dog used to the husher. Yes it did get taken off, so I made it tighter... leave it on for short periods, let them have nice treats with it on so they realise they can eat and drink... My barker is now much better, she can run with the other dogs without manic barking.. for a period. As soon as she barks it goes on. She is now ( within 1 week) quite comfortable with it on , seldom to never barks when its on.. and can run freely with my border collies ( who dont bark much) without constant reprimands to be quiet( which are quite ineffective as when she is hyped and barking she does not even hear the reprimands)

Our female lab can get this off in a matter of min, no matter how tightly we fit it, so it's not much help for her. But it works on our male lab, but he will not try to take it off, he waits until we do.

I haven't tried them yet as I just received the first order. You see I based the size according to the chart and I was still skeptical that the size 2 would be too big so I asked for help by email from VetNPet direct and they confirmed that size was the way to go so I ordered 2. I have 2 small Miniature Pinscher's. The size 2 is too big for the female and might fit the male but still looks too big. After lots of thinking I ended up ordering the size 1 that hasn't arrived yet so hopefully that one will fit but I would recommend that the sizing chart be reviewed as it's incorrect. The lenght is also a little too long to allow eating or drinking. I hope it still works. I plan to use it when I'm having people over as they tend to get very agitated at this time mostly, the other times are controlable with firm commands but positive reinforcements. I will donate the one that doesn't fit to a shelter in need in my area.

I bought this for my Jack Russell as per the instructions for working out the size. As in other reviews he keeps it on for about a minute and then is able to get it off. Comes off way to easy. If it stayed on I think it may work. They need to make one where it attaches to dog like a collar, not just at the top of the head. Very disappointed.

I am very disappointed with this product. My german shepherd puppy has been barking a lot, and The Husher seemed like a great solution. I am a uni student, so I don't have a lot of money to spend. If I'd known that Roxy would be able to get it off in the first hour of putting it on, I would have saved my money. I'm disgusted in the Husher. It was the right size, and fitted according to their instructions. When I found it destroyed, I cried. I can't afford to replace it. I am very very disappointed in the Husher.

The quality of this product has deteriorated when compared with the first models. The collar clip is too flimsy and my dogs are able to loosen it so getting it off. They need a conventional buckle to keep the collar and muzzle firm. Also the top reinforcement edging needs to be stronger as mine has split so allowing the dog to work the muzzle off..

I think this product is badly designed . My dog had it off in a second and was playing with it. The Ranger recommended it and I will be telling him the same story. I was disgusted. SS.

I have two labradors that when they get over excited bark non stop and nothing seems to work. I tried the Husher, only as a last resort, and it did work for my smaller female lab. It did work for the larger male lab but unfortunately he is able to get it off.
