Good effective product that we have been using for many years.
I have been using this product for about 10 Months now and it appears to work very well. I like to use Vet-n-pet Direct as it is a very easy service to use and I know once I order that I will receive in a couple of days without any issues. Very Happy with the service.
Great product, continued use after RSPCA was using on a dog I adopted.
I started using this product 20 years ago to ward off fleas in the house while at the sametime changing from drontal to sentimal worming regime. I have found the product to be reliable and would recommend its use to all pet owners.

One delicious beefy flavoured chew given once a month with a full meal, all year round is all it takes to give your dog a lifetime of protection against the most dangerous worms and fleas.
Dogs should be tested by a veterinarian to ensure that they do not have heartworm before commencing SENTINEL SPECTRUM .
Simply give one SENTINEL SPECTRUM chew once a month with a full meal. Most dogs will take the chew from your hand.
SENTINEL SPECTRUM must be given every month, preferably on the same date each month to ensure complete protection for your dog.
SENTINEL SPECTRUM is available in small dog sizes that can be given to puppies from 2 weeks of age.
Pack sizes: 3 Chews and 6 Chews
Properties
Milbemycin oxime, praziquantel and lufenuron are the active ingredients in Sentinel Spectrum Tasty Chews.
Milbemycin oxime interferes with nerve transmission in invertebrates, which helps protect against heartworm, roundworm, hookworm and whipworm (minimum dose rate: 0.5mg/kg).
Praziquantel causes muscle spasm in tapeworm, which are then attacked by enzymes and disintegrate (minimum dose rate: 5mg/kg). It kills all intestinal forms of tapeworm except Spirometra spp, which require a higher than standard dose rate.
Lufenuron is an insect growth regulator that interrupts the flea breeding cycle. Adult fleas that feed on an animal treated with Sentinel Spectrum will produce eggs or larvae that do not develop to the adult stage. Therefore reducing the number of fleas in the environment.
Sentinel Spectrum Tasty Chews are beef-flavoured, and studies have shown they are so palatable that 97% of dogs accept them straight from the hand.
IndicationsSentinel Spectrum Tasty Chews provide broad spectrum parasite protection.
Sentinel Spectrum Tasty Chews prevent heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis) and control roundworm (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina), hookworm (Ancylostoma caninum), whipworm (Trichuris vulpis), tapeworm and flea infestations in dogs.
Dosage and AdministrationOnce a month, ideally on the same date.
If a dose is overdue by <15 days, treat immediately and resume monthly dosing.
If a dose is missed by 15-30 days, heartworm prevention can be maintained if treated immediately and monthly dosing resumes for at least the next 2 months.
If a dose is missed by >60 days, a veterinarian must be consulted in case the animal has contracted heartworm. Dosing may be recommenced, and a blood test for adult heartworm must be performed after 6 months.
Dose must be given with a full meal, either within food or immediately afterwards (to allow effective absorption of lufenuron).
Formulations and Packaging:Sentinel Spectrum Tasty Chews containing 5.75mg milbemycin oxime, 57mg praziquantel and 150mg lufenuron in green pack.
Sentinel Spectrum Tasty Chews containing 11.5mg milbemycin oxime, 114mg praziquantel and 230mg lufenuron in yellow pack.
Sentinel Spectrum Tasty Chews containing 23mg milbemycin oxime, 228mg praziquantel and 460mg lufenuron in blue pack.
97% of dogs will take the tasty chews straight from the hand. Otherwise, the dose can be added to a small meal or placed directly in the mouth, similar to tablet dosing.
Sentinel Spectrum Tasty Chews come in packs of three (a 3-month supply) and six (a 6-month supply).
SafetySentinel Spectrum Tasty Chews can be safely used in puppies from 6 weeks of age, breeding males and females, and collies sensitive to ivermectin.
Sentinel Spectrum Tasty Chews have been safety tested at up to 10 times the recommended dose.
If an animal with adult heartworm infection (and therefore circulating microfilariae) is given Sentinel Spectrum, a transient shock-like reaction can occur. To avoid this, dogs should be tested for adult heartworm and treated if necessary, before starting Sentinel Spectrum.
