I feed a family of 4 Magpies Insectivore mixed with meat, they seem to be thriving. Their natural habitat is fast disappearing in this area.

We have been rescuing native birds for 16 years and discovered Wombaroo Insectivore bird raising mix very early and have used it ever since. It provides essential nutrients for native insectivorous birds and provides that base for a good all round food for adults and young birds.

Being a native bird carer I look after insect eating birds. I have been using Wombaroo Insectivore mix for years now as it provides my birds with the vitamins and minerals to maintain their health in a captive environment.

Use as complete food or supplement

by

From Hawks Nest

I have a rescue magpie and use this as her main food source even though she forages quite a lot for herself from our garden. I mix it with minced meat, wheat germ, rice bran, almond meal, greated cheese and some liquid calcium and roll it into small pellets. The mix freezes well so I can make a big batch and just take out a days portion at a time.

Good mince is not good enough

by

From Logan reserve, Australia

I have 7 maggies and a Kookaburra. Regular as clockwork. 7am. 50 grams mince mixed with 10 teaspoons Insectivore. Must be doing good as they are always there

excellant necessary product for feeding

From australia

Necessary additive to feed birds wild & captive. Skip the bread,as it's most unsuitable. Mix with mince meat-beef &/or chicken.Adds insects as a vitamin boost for healthy birds.
