How Often Should I Worm My Horse?
As a very general guide you can work on worming every 2-3 months for an adult horse and every 2 months for foals under 6 months. But this is dependant on the specific wormer that you use and/or your specific situation. Most manufacturers have a rotation/dosage frequency recommendation that suits their brand/s of wormers. The best way to determine dosage frequency is via Faecal Egg Counts but this is not practical for many people to undertake.
