The ultimate in style and design, the Drinkwell Platinum Pet Fountain provides a large capacity of 4.7 litres of fresh, clean water. This all-new design utilises a patented free-falling stream of water which entices pets to drink more, keeping them happy, healthy and hydrated. A charcoal filter removes bad tastes and odours, giving your pet the best possible - and most appealing - way to stay hydrated! A snap on lid prevents accidental removal. The Drinkwell Platinum Pet Fountain features a pre-filter to catch large particles before they reach the motor and a submersible pump for nearly silent operation. Rubber feet prevent sliding. No assembly is required. For optimal performance of your fountain and the greatest health benefits for your pets, we recommend replacing the filter once every 2 to 4 weeks. The replacement charcoal filters come in a pack of 3 and effectively reduce bacteria and odours in your pet's water.

Drinkwell Platinum Pet Fountain

I bought this drinking fountain for my two indoor cats about three weeks ago and so far I am very happy. There has been a considerable increase in the amount both my boys drink, which is super important for liver and kidney health. The operation of the fountain is relatively silent, after the first day or two I stopped noticing the operation noise at all and I like that you can adjust the water flow if your cat or dog is a bit skittish about the splashing. Cleaning can be tiresome if you don't have bottle cleaners and pipe cleaners, but otherwise is pretty straight forward. I'd definitely reccomend this product for cats who don't drink from regular bowls but love drinking from the sink or shower, or creepy felines like mine who like to lick the water off your legs when you hop out of the shower.

Bonnie is on heart medication which includes diuretic. She therefore drinks a great deal more water now than she did. Rather than trying to keep up with a normal water bowl, this drinking fountain is perfect. Problem is that her ears flop into the water. We have rigged-up an alfoil collar to reduce the size of the drinking pool. Works well
