Now there is a system that enables you to keep your dog safely within the boundaries of your property without being obtrusive to your surroundings, and it is less expensive and more effective than a fence. You create an in-ground barrier using the easy-to-install boundary wire. When your dog is wearing a containment collar and approaches within 1-3 metres of the boundary, he hears an audible warning tone. If he ventures further, your dog will receive a harmless, mild, static pulse... just enough to keep your pet safe within the boundary. Training flags help your dog recognise the parameters of his new home! The PetSafe In-Ground Radio Fence is PetSafe's biggest selling system as it is one of the most affordable ways to keep your dog safe and secure in his own backyard. The ultralight waterproof receiver collar is battery operated and has a nylon strap. Additional receiver collars are available for additional pets. The dog will hear a warning tone as it nears the boundary you established followed by a quick correction if it attempts to cross it. The lightweight, adjustable collar is the perfect complement to the newfound freedom your dog will experience on his old turf. All PetSafe containment collars are compatible with all PetSafe In-Ground Fencing Systems. RANGE: 1/3 acre. Can be expanded for yards up to 10 acres with extra wire (PRFA-500 sold separately) PACKAGE INCLUDES: *Waterproof Ultralight receiver collar *Wall mounted transmitter with power adapter *150m of boundary wire and 50 boundary flags *Long and short probes *6-Volt Lithium Battery (RFA-67D-11) *Instructional DVD and Training Manual *** The use of electronic collars may not be legal in your state or may require usage according to specific requirements. PetSafe In-Ground Radio Fence

We found the containment system very easy to install and very effective. We now have peace of mind knowing our little cavaliers will no longer climb the fence for adventures. It took two days for them to learn the "hot zone", now they happily play within it - not out amongst the highway traffic!
