The instructions are not clear regarding the indicator light.
One indicator light will flash either green or red.
When I turn on the collar there are two short beeps and it flashes green every few seconds. (It has never flashed red at this stage to indicate a low battery.)
On the days the neighbours are complaining: When I turn off the collar there is one long beep and it quickly flashes red nine times, quickly flashes green once, then repeats this flashing sequence a few times. (This occurrence isn’t on the instructions.)
On the days the neighbours are not complaining: When I turn the collar off, it quickly flashes red a few times, then stops to indicate the number of times the dog has barked. (As per the instructions.)
I am now recharging the battery it every second day hoping it doesn’t shorten the battery’s life.
I also clean the spray nozzle with a small soft artist brush each day.
Not long after purchasing the light pushed into the unit and was hard to see if it was on or off. The spray activated even when the dog was quiet. I was adjusting the collar and it sprayed my hand. My son was patting him and it sprayed the dog. The dog only had to move and it sprayed him. While it did spray when he barked it is also punished him for no reason when he is being behaved and quiet. I contacted Vet n Pet and they gave a full refund when I posted the faulty item back to them!!!
When it's on our cavalier barks once very occasionally and then shuts up quick. But the smart bugger knows when it's not on...!
