Unfortunately it does not interest my cat at all. She is a 3 year old Burmese. She just walks past, over, or through the beam. I am left with a product that is no use to me at all. Maybe it is effective more on younger cats and kittens.

This toy is great. I have a very active cat who is always looking for something to amuse herself with. You just turn it on, place it on the floor and leave the room. I use it in the kitchen so the laser zooms around on the cupboard doors. The built in timer turns off automatically after 15 minutes of play time. You can also have the laser as a pointer and direct the beam yourself if you want to join in playing with your cat.
