Mites and lice can be irritating to small animals and severely impact their health.

Vetafarm Origins Insect & Mite spray offers instant control of pests on contact with an additional 6 week residual protection against reinfestation. It penetrates the coat to kill mites and lice in the fur and on the skin.

Directions for Use: 

(a) To control rabbit and rodent mite (Trixacarus caviae) and Lice (Anoplura spp.) spray directly onto animal by holding spray 30-40cm (12-16 in) from animal. Depending on animal size, use from 1 spray (mouse) to 10 sprays (rabbit).

(b) Environment: Spray animal environment thoroughly. One application should give up to 6 weeks protection.

I would buy this product again and again

This product is excellent for the control of mites on rabbits - kills them first spray. As an owner of show rabbits this is one of the most important aspects of owning a rabbit - no mites allowed on a show bunny

This is the only product I use in prevention of mites in my rabbits. Other brands aren't as effective.

Does this work on genuine pig and if it was poisonous if consumed by genuine pig

Yes the Vetafarm Origins Insect & Mite Spray will work on Guinea Pigs.
It is safe to use if you follow the directions.
When treating the Guinea Pigs environment wait until it has dried before placing Guinea Pig back into its enclosure.

How old do rabbits have to be to get their first spray? I have 1 week olds and was wondering if its safe to spray them yet?

I have spoken with Vetafarm and they have advised to avoid using this on your baby rabbits until they are 4 weeks of age.
