The Pet Loo is your backyard in a box!

This indoor/outdoor toilet works for dogs, cats, and small pets. Ideal for apartments, potty training, and occasions when you can’t let your pet out, the Pet Loo is a convenient alternative to pee pads and midnight bathroom breaks. The top layer of synthetic grass allows urine to drain through into the base. The reinforced base is slightly angled so urine trickles down into the waste container. The waste container catches the urine and is removable for easy cleanup.

To clean up your pet’s waste, remove the waste container and dump the urine in your toilet or yard. The waste container holds 2 litres of liquid and is made of a material that reduces odour. For even easier cleanup, place a Pee Pod into the waste container. These disposable pods are lined with our Wee Sponge powder that solidifies into a gel when it comes in contact with liquid, effectively trapping urine and odours. 1 disposable Pet Pod and a sample amount of Wee Sponge powder is included with your Pet Loo, and you can also purchase additional packs separately. For your pet’s solid waste, use a pooper scooper or a poop bag.

Does your dog lift his leg to mark his spot? Place a short vertical object like a disposable cup in the middle of the Pet Loo. Remove it once your dog is comfortable using the Pet Loo.

Pet Loo Cleaning Tips

Daily - Pour warm water over the grass to flush out extra urine.
2-3 times per week - Spray the Pet Loo and grass with Wee Care and allow it to dry.

Weekly - Thoroughly spray the Pet Loo with Wee Care and leave it for 5-10 minutes. Remove the grass and wash down the entire unit with a hose, shower, or sink sprayer. Allow it to dry completely.

Urinary Incontinence in Pets.

If your housetrained dog is suddenly having urinary accidents, they may have dog incontinence, a common disorder in spayed females and older dogs. A visit to your veterinarian will distinguish cat or dog incontinence from inappropriate urination, which is a behavioural problem, and to rule out medical conditions, such as a bladder infection or kidney stones.

Arthritis or injury to the back affecting nerves to the bladder can also cause cat or dog incontinence (refer HomeoPet Joint Plus in this case).

Understanding your pet's condition can help you to find the best treatment available for your cat or dog. Here are some signs that your pet may have urinary incontinence:

* There are wet spots where the pet was sleeping or lying down

* You detect a strong odour of stale urine from your pet's hindquarters and the area might be wet

* You notice your pet licking at the genital area and the skin may be irritated

* Your dog is leaking urine while awake and walking around. You might also notice a small squirt of urine when your pet rises from sitting or any other effort that causes the abdomen to tense such as barking, or jumping up.

* You are finding puddles or urine stains on the carpet

* You notice leaking during periods of heat when your pet drinks large quantities of water, putting pressure on the bladder (Tip: this can be helped by putting out cold water or ice cubes in the water to reduce the intake, along with the use of HomeoPet Leaks No More).

Dog incontinence is typically seen in medium to large breed, female dogs that have been spayed, but it can occur in any dog or cat, male or female. After spaying or neutering, or as the pet gets older, hormone production decreases and the sphincter muscles that control the bladder are weakened. When the animal relaxes, urine leaks out.

Hormone supplements or phenylpropanolamine (brand name Pro-In) are most commonly prescribed, but these have possible side effects. Estrogen may cause bone marrow depletion and the possibility of bringing on false heat.

In males, testosterone may increase aggression. Yours Droolly® No More Marking prevents pets from revisiting and marking or soiling the same spot twice. When sprayed on previously marked areas it will remove existing stains and odours leaving behind a pleasant aroma that dogs don't like. Ideal when trying to eliminate bad marking habits. Safe for use around pets and the home when used as directed.

DIRECTIONS:

Shake before using. Before using, test surface to be treated for colour fastness by applying to a hidden area, wait 5 minutes then wipe with a cloth. If colour is removed from the test area, do not use No More Marking on those surfaces. Always use at full strength.

TO PREVENT REPETITIVE PET MARKING:

Thoroughly soak previously stained area with No More Marking and wait 5 minutes, blot area with a cloth. For areas that have been marked multiple times, a second application may be required.

STAIN REMOVAL:

Wipe up as much of the stain as possible, thoroughly soak the stain with No More Marking. Wait 5 minutes, wipe away stain with a cloth. While treated area dries keep pets away from the area. NOTE: For tough stains, use a bristle brush. If stain is not completely removed, re-soak area and allow No More Marking to work for 1 hour, wipe stain with a cloth.

ODOUR ELIMINATION:

Wipe up excess odour causing material, thoroughly soak area with No More Marking. Wait 5 minutes, blot dry with a cloth. Allow to dry completely before expecting complete odour elimination. While the treated area dries keep pets away from the area. NOTE: For tough odours in carpets, such as urine apply sufficient volume of liquid to reach all odour causing material. Wait 1 hour, then blot dry. Allow treated area to air dry completely before expecting complete odour elimination.

CAUTION: Harmful if swallowed. If swallowed seek immediate medical attention. In case of eye contact, immediately flush eyes with water for 15 minutes. Prolonged skin contact can cause irritation.
