Anitone is an Australian made, natural organic liquid mineral and trace element feed supplement for all animals. Anitone provides over 60 minerals and trace elements in a highly bioavailable, chelated form to supplement the diets of all domestic animals.
Why Anitone?
Anitone is the only liquid animal supplement available on the market for animal production with such a comprehensive range of ingredients, containing not only essential minerals, but also amino acids, and Vitamins A, D and Vitamin E.
Anitone is the only feed supplement on the market that is fermented in a process that mimics natural digestive processes, and is therefore highly palatable and relished by most animals.
How is Anitone made?
Anitone is derived from a careful manufacturing process that involves the fermentation of mineral rich plant extracts together with common stockfeed ingredients, such as molasses. This fermentation process enhances the value of all the ingredients contained in Anitone, and elevates it from a regular stock feed supplement to a "super food".
Vitamins and minerals that have been absorbed into plants form complex molecules called "phytocomplexes". These complicated natural substances cannot be reproduced in a laboratory and are becoming increasingly recognized as superior dietary sources of many nutrients. As the fermentation process used in making Anitone mimics digestion, the vitamins and minerals it contains thus become highly bioavailable to gut microflora immediately after dosing over the tongue, or mixing in feed or water.
There are over 60 minerals contained in Anitone, along with good levels of Vitamin A, D and E, plus a range of amino acids essential for growth and metabolism. In addition, Anitone provides a wide variety of plant origin volatile oils, chlorophyll, sterols, growth factors, alginates, humic and fulvic acids, vitamins and trace minerals, including many trace minerals such as selenium, zinc, iron, copper, cobalt, zinc, chromium, boron, manganese, nickel, vanadium – some of these more obscure elements are being proven by modern research to have emerging roles in maintaining peak metabolic function.
Most of these nutrients are also fundamental to maintaining healthy gut microflora, which perform the real work of digestion for the animal.
Many of these nutrients may be missing from modern diets, especially when they contain processed food, or from marginal pastures during harsh seasons, or may easily become depleted in times of stress and high physical demand.
The addition of Anitone to any animal production operation therefore ensures that animals gain maximum benefit from their daily food due to its supportive effect on gut microflora. However Anitone is a truly multi-tasking product because it can also be used in a bolus dose down the throat to revive a depressed or weakened animal, or to change mental attitude and enable the animal to cope with stress. For this reason, Anitone is a very useful product for animal owners to use to buffer the stress of the transport journey itself, or period of travelling away from home to competitions or sales.
How to Use Anitone:
Anitone is highly water soluble, and is designed for oral use which can be in a variety of ways to suit many operations.
- May be used as an oral drench and mixes well with most water soluble commercial drenches and will not damage drench gun rubbers, animal's mouths or human skin as it is a completely natural product.
- May be poured over feed rations, or mixed through them – either pour over the total ration (calculate per head dose or use at 5% ration), or can be poured or sprayed onto hay, or sprayed over grain via a grain applicator, (standard rate to spray into grain of 10 litres liquid per ton, using 5 litres Anitone mixed with 5 litres water)
- May be added to drinking water wherever there is good flow through watering systems, and may be added to overhead tanks or distributed into sheds and troughs, providing water is not allowed to become stagnant. If added to drinking water, use at rate of 2%, or calculate dose per head according to known water consumption.
- Is useful as a single shotgun dose if not convenient to give regularly, but works best when adapted to frequent and regular doses, at least once or twice weekly if possible. May also be given daily to show and performance animals, or animals that are in recovery or subjected to repeatedly stressful conditions.

Equinade Pure Stockholm Tar contains 100% Swedish Pine Tar which is renowned for it's natural mild antiseptic quality. Stockholm held a monopoly for selling pine tar and so the premium form of the product became known as "Stockholm Tar". Substitute materials are marketed as Stockholm tar, but should not be used as a veterinary product. Whilst black in colour, the substitute is a residue of charcoal production (poly phenolic liquor) which contains hazardous chemicals and up to 22% water. Coal tar is also used as a substitute which contains the toxic and hazardous benzopyrene (C2OH12).
Equinade Pure Stockholm Tar is a high quality pine tar produced using closed kilns to extract the valuable sap, without toxic bi-products being produced e.g. creosote.

Actively fights the dehydration that kills. Vytrate reduces scour duration and severity, replaces lost fluids and electrolytes.
Dosage:
Reconstitution/ Dilution
Sections 1 and 2 must be used together.
Add the contents of section 1 and section 2 to 2 litres of warm water. Stir until dissolved.
To prepare 500 mL, add 1 level 5 mL medicine spoonful of powder from section 1 and 3 heaped spoonfuls of powder from section 2. Refrigerate remaining solution after use and use within 24 hours. Prepare fresh solution daily.
Foals:
Administer solution, made up as directed, orally to scouring or dehydrated foals by drenching using a bottle or stomach tube. As a guide, 1 to 2 litres of fresh Vytrate solution 2 to 3 times daily, depending on bodyweight and severity of the symptoms, has been reported as a suitable dosage regimen for neonatal foals.
Cats, Dogs:
Vytrate solution, reconstituted as directed, should be made available to diarrhoeic or dehydrated animals as supportive therapy following specific treatment for the conditions described.
Many dogs find Vytrate palatable and will drink the solution voluntarily. Palatability for cats is variable. Vytrate may also be administered orally via dosage syringe. Treatment should be continued for 1 to 2 days after the animal appears clinically recovered and is feeding normally. As a guide, the following dosage regimens of prepared Vytrate solution are recommended:-
Cats, miniature dogs (<5 kg): 125 mL 2-3 times daily
Small dogs (5 – 10 kg): 250 mL 2-3 times daily
Medium dogs (11 – 20 kg): 500 mL 2-3 times daily
Large dogs (>20 kg): 750 mL 2- 3 times daily
Calves:
Bought-in or Stressed Calves (not scouring):
Feed 2 litres of diluted solution, made up as above, as the first feed on arrival.
For the next scheduled feed, use 1 litre diluted solution at the same time as, but not mixed with, milk or milk replacer. Thereafter, feed normal diet.
Scouring Calves:
Feed 1 to 1.5 litres of diluted solution per 10 kg bodyweight daily, divided into two or more daily doses.
If scouring is established or severe, causing dehydration, the higher dose should be used initially and fed in three or four divided doses. 2 litres of diluted solution given morning and night will be adequate in many cases. Replace with fresh solution every 24 hours. To maintain adequate energy and nutrient intake, milk feeding should continue as normal during periods of scouring. Diluted solution should be given between these milk feeds.
• Fresh drinking water should be available at all times.
• Keep feeding utensils clean and avoid overfeeding.
• Normal feeding should be resumes after the course of treatment.
• Many scouring problems can be avoided by feeding adequate colostrum early in the calf’s life.
• Seek veterinary advice if blood is present or if scours persist beyond four days.
Pigs:
Suckling Piglets:
Make available solution made up as directed to the whole litter in a cube drinker or similar clean vessel as soon as scour symptoms show. A litter of 1 week old piglets will consume approximately 2-3 litres per day. The amount consumed will increase with the age of the piglets. Piglets may be dosed individually, by giving 20 to 30 mL diluted solution 3 or 4 times a day, taking care to avoid choking. Take care to ensure that piglets are not left without diluted solution, drinking water, or sow’s milk.
Check the supply of solution every 12 hours and replenish if necessary.
Weaned Pigs
Scouring weaned pigs should have fresh diluted solution available in a suitable clean vessel. Restrict solid feed intake for one or two days, but continue to supply fresh drinking water.
As a general guide, weaners will consume 1-2 litres/ weaner/ day.
Duration of treatment (all pigs):
Diluted solution should be made available for 4 days, but if the scour has not cleared completely, treatment may be continued for up to 8 days in total. If there is no sign of improvement, consult a veterinary surgeon.
Periods of stress:
For the 2 to 3 days following any period of stress (e.g. weaning, transport), Vytrate will help to increase fluid and electrolyte consumption and absorption, so minimising any possible setback. As diluted solution is extremely palatable and excessive drinking may occur, diluted solution at half the strength recommended above may be used, for this indication only. Replace with fresh solution every 24 hours.
Sheep:
Scouring Lambs:
Give 150 to 200 mL fresh diluted solution 2 to 4 times daily as required. The solution should be adjusted to body heat and given via a feeding bottle and teat. The lamb should also suck the ewe.
If bottle-fed, to maintain adequate energy and nutrient intake, milk feeding should continue as normal during period of scouring. Solution should be given between these milk feeds.
Note:
When specific disease control (i.e. antibiotic therapy) is indicated, it can be administered in conjunction with Vytrate. Stressed and scouring animals requiring rehydration are at risk of multiple organ dysfunction. It is strongly recommended that veterinary advice is sought when considering treating dehydrated animals.

In late 2020 International Animal Health began rebranding their product which was formerly known as Protexin to a new name "ProN8ure".
BENEFITS OF PRON8URE:
- Establishment of beneficial gut microflora
- Suppression of E. Coli Salmonella & Aeromonas spp
- Treatment and control of scouring and diarrhoea
- Improved digestibility of feed
- Improved growth and feed conversion
- Reduced digestive upsets
- Enhanced animal health
- Re-establishment of gut microflora following antibiotics, wormers or vaccination
- Reducing stress (stress disrupts normal intestinal balance)
- Safe, non-toxic and residue-free.
Stress, in all forms is one of the major causes of disruption to the normal balance of microflora in the gut, allowing proliferation of pathogens. Loss of appetite, picky eating, scouring, poor condition and changes in temperament are some of the less consequences. Stress is easily induced with some common causes being: changes in diet, heavy work or training, temperature extremes, breeding, transportation, worming, vaccinations and changes to environment. Use of PRON8URE in these circumstances protects horses from negative intestinal changes while improving digestive efficiency and general health.
Antibiotics are particularly harmful to gut microflora, leaving animals susceptible to re-infection. PRON8URE should always be administered following any course of antibiotics. The digestive system plays a vital role in the health, vigour and performance of horses. Its correct functioning is dependent on the level and balance of bacteria and yeasts called microflora. Microflora have the major role in breaking down indigestible nutrients, in the synthesis and absorption of vitamins and minerals, in stimulating the immune system and in preventing the proliferation of pathogens in the gut.
Foals are born with a sterile gut which is rapidly colonised by both beneficial and pathogenic bacteria. A fine balance exists which can easily be disrupted, leading to scouring, ill thrift and other problems. Feeding PRON8URE from birth protects the foal from pathogens, improves digestive efficiency, enables better utilisation of feed and makes the transition from milk to solid feed easier.
All horses benefit from ProN8ure's ability to stabilise intestinal microflora, maximise gut health and resist the effects of stress.
