TRIPART is a blend of essential co-factors to ensure that muscle metabolism is optimised, and that energy supply to muscles is adequate, to reduce the risk of lactic acidosis, muscle fatigue and Tying Up. Provision of essential co-factors and nutrients at the correct time, and in the correct amounts, reduces the risk of muscle damage and decreased performance.
How Does It Work?
ATP is the essential chemical for muscle contraction, releasing energy when it is broken down to ADP. The aspartates improve endurance by decreasing blood lactate and ammonia, thus delaying fatigue.
Vitamin B3 is essential in increasing the use of glycogen for energy, and arginine acts as a vehicle for transport, storage and excretion of nitrogen.
Lysine is very important in muscle repair. Selenium is an essential element of the enzyme which helps remove the free radicals produced during severe exercise. Vitamin B12 is essential for red blood cell turnover.
Key Features & Benefits:
- TRIPART paste supplements ATP to improve available energy supply to muscles.
- TRIPART assists muscle repair and recovery after exercise.
- TRIPART reduces the risk of tying up or cramping.

Kohnke’s Own Energy Gold is a highly palatable, premium oil supplement with added Vitamin E.
Energy Gold is a premium ‘super cool’ oil and fatty acid supplement, designed to deliver daily energy for performance, stamina and coat shine.
Blended from cold-pressed, virgin Australian sourced oils, Energy Gold is a slow release, non-fizzy source of omega fatty acids, offering natural anti-inflammatory benefits and improved muscular function, as well as enhancing coat and skin health for a glossy shine.
Energy Gold is garlic flavoured to please reluctant eaters and contains no preservatives or sugar, making it suitable for grain or sugar-sensitive horses and ponies as an energy source or coat conditioner.
Dr John Kohnke’s special Energy Gold formulation provides a ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids that make it superior to other oils, such as linseed or flaxseed, which are only palatable in small amounts.
A specific balance of omega fatty acids can offer benefits for overall health including anti-inflammatory properties, and improvement in gastric, muscle and immune function. Energy Gold is also uniquely boosted with an optimal, fat-soluble source of vitamin E as an antioxidant for muscle and cellular function in exercising horses.
Energy Gold is specially designed to have flexible dosage rates with small amounts to encourage a show-winning shine and larger supplementation rates for cool energy.
Which Horses Benefit?
• For all horses as a fat source in the feed for daily energy - ‘cool’, slow release energy
• Provides energy without sugar or starch for horses which are sensitive to sugar or prone to laminitis
• As a coat conditioner supplement for equestrian and show horses.
• An omega fatty acid source for common or basic rations for working horses
• As a slow release energy source for horses needing fat-based energy for performance, strength and stamina over long periods of training, racing and competition.
• Especially for balanced energy profiles for equestrian and racing horses on high grain diets which are prone to tying up, excessive ‘fizz’ or lack of staying power from shortfalls in daily energy intake.
• To increase palatability of feeds and supplements provided to fussy eaters. Garlic flavouring is particularly beneficial to mask medications or unpalatable feeds and supplements.
• Mixer for pastes to ensure slow uptake for optimum absorption (ie Mag-E calming paste, Gastro-Coat paste).
Supplementation Guidelines:
Commence Energy Gold supplementation in a step-wise manner over 14 days, increasing the amount fed by 30 mL every three days. It may take up to 6-8 weeks for a horse’s digestive system and metabolic processes to adapt to a higher level of fat in the feed as an energy source during exercise.
AS A COAT CONDITIONER / MAINTENANCE SUPPLEMENT
For all horses, including grazing or resting horses and ponies to improve coat shine and condition.
Add 12mL for each 100kg body weight daily to the feed. ie 60mL for a 500kg horse.
OMEGA FATTY ACID SOURCE FOR COMMON OR BASIC RATIONS
For general working horses to provide cool energy and improve coat condition plus the natural benefits of balanced Omega-3 to Omega-6 fatty acid ratio.
Add 15 – 20mL for each 100kg body weight daily to the feed. ie 75 – 100mL for a 500kg horse.
AS A SLOW RELEASE ENERGY SOURCE
For working horses needing energy for performance, strength and stamina over long periods of training, racing or competition. For athletic or performance horses on high-grain diets.
Add between 125mL and 250mL daily to the feed for horses 400 – 600kg body weight.

Muscle damage is a constant risk in working horses, leading to reduced performance or inability to work. PRESERVE contains the antioxidants that help to preserve normal muscle function and minimize the severity of any muscle damage, including tying up. It will aid in the reduction of stiffness and soreness during or after work that can hamper performance or recovery. PRESERVE helps horses recover after work, reducing down-time between performance and return to training.
PRESERVE contains vitamins and minerals that help keep the immune system operating effectively. The stress of work can often lead to the immune system becoming less effective, with the result that the horse becomes more susceptible to diseases such as colds and coughs. Research has shown that supplementary Vitamin E and selenium provided to a pregnant mare can boost antibody transfer to the foal in colostrum.
PRESERVE contains higher levels of antioxidants than are contained in most general vitamin and mineral supplements. It also contains additional vitamin C, selenium and magnesium to provide advantages over supplements which only contain vitamin E. This is especially important in selenium deficient areas. Each dose of PRESERVE contains organic selenium. Research has shown that organic selenium is retained more efficiently by the horse than inorganic forms.
USES:
- As an antioxidant blend.
- As a vitamin E or selenium supplement.
- Assists in the prevention of tying up and muscle soreness.
- Maintenance of immunity.

ORALX TYROSINE is a blend of herbs and amino acids. Its two main ingredients are Phenylalanine and Tyrosine. ORALX TYROSINE paste works in two ways:
- Phenylalanine is important because the equine body cannot produce it in sufficient quantities when under stress, as in heavy competition or racing
- Phenylalanine aids the thyroid, assisting the absorption of oxygen and converting fats to energy for a staying finish with minimum levels of stress
Phenylalanine cannot be synthesised by the body; however, Tyrosine can be processed, but only with the correct levels of Phenylalanine in the body - hence the benefit of ORALX TYROSINE paste.
TYROSINE plays a role in energy metabolism as it aids in the production of the hormones Epinephrine (which is adrenaline; finding that extra yard at the post); Norepinephrine (for stabilising a horse's mood when it is stressed, flat or edgy); and Thyroxine (for aiding thyroid deficiencies which can result in weight loss, lack of stamina and fading at the winning post). As a useful supplement, ORALX TYROSINE paste can help give the equine athlete that lift needed to perform at optimum levels.
Directions: Administer the entire contents onto the back of the horse's tongue.
Use one to two tubes 4 hours before strenuous work.
SIZE:Available in a 34g tube (single dose).

Kelato ZanoBOLIC concentrate is a lysine and refined rice bran embryo extract (gamma oryzanol) supplement that aids in the development of lean muscle, topline and improves coat condition.
Gamma oryzanol is a crystalline powder separated and extracted from rice bran oil and rice embryo oil. The gamma oryzanol molecule has a similar molecular structure to a testosterone molecule, thus giving it anabolic properties. Gamma oryzanol contains two molecules – sterol and ferulic acid. Ferulic acid is a compound that possesses very strong antioxidant properties, while sterols have many biological functions – throughout nature they are the starting point for the creation and synthesis of hormones, which are pivotal to cell, muscle and body function.
Gamma oryzanol has a two-fold effect on high performance athletes:
- Anabolism – Gamma oryzanol has a stimulant effect on growth, lean muscle mass and strength. It has an effect on the body's endocrine (hormonal) system resulting in increased metabolism of fat and increased synthesis of protein. In horses, the effects of gamma oryzanol supplementation can be seen as an improved muscle to fat ratio (greater muscle definition over the withers, shoulders and hind quarters).
- Antioxidant – During high intensity exercise, free radicals are released into the muscles and damage cell membranes. Antioxidants, such as the ferulic acid in gamma oryzanol, help to protect the membranes from the deleterious effects of free radicals.
How does it work?
- ZanoBOLIC concentrate is designed to target working muscles to assist in lean muscle development.
- The gamma oryzanol, combined with exercise and a balanced high-quality diet, enables the body to increase lean muscle mass.
- The strong antioxidant effect of the refined rice bran embryo extract aids in reducing muscle damage in hard working horses.
- Can be used to improve coat condition and darken coat colour.
- Stimulates and maintains appetite.
Why do they need it?
- Yearlings: Increase muscle mass and definition + topline + improved and darkened coat = top dollar in sale ring
- Performance horses: Well developed muscle + topline + increased appetite = stamina, strength and winning edge
- Show Horses: Topline + well defined muscles + coat condition = show stopper appearance

Pro-Dosa BOOST is a comprehensive, balanced, bioavailable multi-nutrient paste for horses. It has been formulated to replace essential nutrients lost in training, competition, transport, or stress.
Originally developed as a pre-race product, Pro-Dosa BOOST is now used throughout New Zealand, Australia, Asia, and the Middle-East in racehorses (flat, national hunt, Standardbred, and Arabian), endurance horses, polo ponies, show jumpers, eventers, and dressage horses after hard training, for competition, and for travel.
Many horsemen and veterinarians use Pro-Dosa BOOST more frequently as needed in individuals that require greater nutrient supplementation to maintain normal health, appetite, or metabolism.
Pro-Dosa BOOST is a cost effective, simple to use, less invasive alternative to traditional pre-race and recovery treatments which can be expensive and stressful for the horse. (Pro-Dosa BOOST replaces the administration of electrolytes by stomach tube along with various amino acid, vitamin, trace mineral, and iron solutions normally given by injection.)
The body needs a full complement of nutrients in careful balance to achieve optimum health, performance, and recovery. In fact, administration of individual nutrients may result in imbalances that actually impair their absorption and usefulness. With this in mind, Pro-Dosa BOOST provides complete, balanced, and bioavailable nutritional support.
WHY PRO-DOSA BOOST?

Jenquine all-4-feet
Concentrated, veterinary-developed feed replacer for all horses and ponies - specifically formulated to support soundness, hoof integrity and overall health. Ideal when a low starch/sugar/NSC diet is needed or for animals ageing, convalescing, in work, or at risk of inflammatory conditions (e.g., DOD, PPID/Cushing’s, laminitis/founder, EMS, insulin resistance, obesity, tying-up, OCD).
Why choose all-4-feet?
It can replace, balance or remove the need for multiple separate feeds and supplements, including:
- Manufactured complete feeds
- Balancers
- Amino acid / muscle builders
- Hoof supplements
- Omega-3 oil
- Tying-up support
If you’re feeding two or more of the above, all-4-feet simplifies the regimen and can reduce cost - your horse gets the essential nutrients; you only add fibre and, if needed, extra salt, oil or energy.
Core feeding principles
All horses and ponies require the same essential nutrients. Total intake varies with age, weight, workload, growth, reproductive status or clinical need. Higher-demand animals (growing, pregnant, performance) simply receive more of the same foundational nutrition rather than different types.
Feeding guide
all-4-feet® is an all-in-one nutrient base—add appropriate fibre and, if required, extra energy, salt or oil. Adjust gradually based on condition, workload and veterinary advice. Up to 1.5kg per day can be fed if needed. Fine-tune according to response.

Normally animals get L-CARNITINE from their diet, or they manufacture it from other amino acids, but a heavily exercising athletic animal will usually not be able to replace the extensive loss of L-CARNITINE which occurs. Carnitine deficiency results in an inability to utilise fatty acids as an energy source, and causes skeletal muscle dysfunction and weakness, heart enlargement, heart failure and rhythm disturbances and liver dysfunction. L-CARNITINE also assists in the oxidation of pyruvate and branched chain amino acids in the energy cycle, and prevents the buildup of fatty complexes within cells which can damage muscle cell membranes.
Supplementing with L-CARNITINE has a number of beneficial effects during exercise including enhanced energy supply, increased utilisation of fatty acids, decreased buildup of lactic acid and increased maximum work output. The level of L-CARNITINE in muscles plays a major role in determining the exercise capacity of the muscles. L-CARNITINE is essential for normal heart function. L-CARNITINE is recognised as one of the more important ergogenic aids for equine and canine performance, as well as for human athletes. L-CARNITINE supplementation enhances both sprint and endurance performance. Fat is the major energy source for endurance events. Supplementation increases maximal work output and V02 max in sprint exercise.
There is evidence that L-CARNITINE levels in equine plasma increase with training. High fat diets are recommended for exercising horses as they have a very high energy content and have been shown to improve performance when their utilisation is enhanced by L-CARNITINE supplementation.
Adequate L-CARNITINE levels are critically involved in the survival of newborn foals. Supplementation of brood mares twice weekly during the last two weeks of pregnancy with 10mL L-CARNITINE will benefit the foal. Animals under stress are reported to respond positively to L-CARNITINE supplements.
Adult Horse: 10mL given three times weekly, or as directed by a veterinarian. Veterinarians have recommended using doses of 20mL to 25mL twice weekly, with the second dose given 4-6 hours before hard or fast work.
Dogs : 1 mL/10 kg

During exercise, lactic acid and free radicals build up in the muscles, and if not neutralised and removed can lead to cramping, stiffness, fatigue and slow recovery. Lactic acid build-up is also one of the factors which contributes to "tying-up"syndrome.
NEUTRADEX is formulated to combat the effects of acidosis and dehydration particularly after fast work. NEUTRADEX also encourages horses to drink, increasing the action of the kidneys in clearing toxic wastes produced by hard exercise.
Beneficial for:
- Horses in hard training.
- Preventing muscle soreness after fast work.
- Horses with a history of "tying-up".
- Preventing dehydration.
Why use Neutradex?
- Active ingredient Citrate gets right into the muscle cells to buffer acid build up.
- The Sodium in Neutradex stimulates the thirst to encourage drinking and flushing of toxins from the body.
NEUTRADEX is a caramel flavoured syrup available in 1L bottles & 5L casks

MuscleGUARD is an oral paste formulated with amino acids, vitamins and potent antioxidants that support normal muscle and nerve function during and after intense exercise. Supplementing before and after work can help provide relief from acute muscle soreness and fatigue associated with strenuous activity.
How Does It Work?
Amino Acids
L-Carnitine
- During low-intensity exercise, oxygen is used to fuel energy production and glycogen use is minimal. Carnitine helps preserve glycogen stores for longer.
- During high-intensity exercise, oxygen supply is limited, so other energy sources fuel muscle activity.
- High levels of carnitine in the muscle before exercise support higher work output with less energy expenditure.
- Oral carnitine supplementation helps load muscles with glycogen.
- Carnitine ensures fatty acids and other fuel sources are used before glycogen, delaying glycogen depletion and lactic acid build-up.
L-Carnosine
- Found in high concentrations in equine skeletal muscle fast-twitch fibres.
- Helps buffer lactic acid produced during glycolysis (glucose breakdown).
Dimethylglycine (DMG)
- Supports increased oxygen uptake in the bloodstream.
- Improved oxygen availability promotes stamina, conserves energy and delays the switch from aerobic to anaerobic exercise.
- Extending aerobic work reduces lactic acid production.
Antioxidants
Alpha-lipoic acid
- A powerful antioxidant that assists in converting glucose to usable energy.
- Helps regenerate and reactivate antioxidants such as Vitamins E and C.
Grape seed extract
- Rich in OPCs (oligomeric proanthocyanidin complexes), known for strong antioxidant effects.
Alpha-lipoic acid and grape seed extract together help to:
- Neutralise harmful free radicals produced during exercise.
- Delay the onset of fatigue.
- Reduce recovery time after periods of hard work.
When to Use MuscleGUARD
- For horses showing acute signs of muscle soreness or tightening after work.
- Suitable for all performance horses—both anaerobic (sprint) and aerobic (stamina) work requires efficient energy use.
- Use before and after events to help relieve muscle soreness and fatigue from strenuous exercise.
Features & Benefits
- Improves stamina and endurance by delaying fatigue.
- Helps delay discomfort associated with lactic acid.
- Reduces recovery time after intense training or events.
- Supports improved mental alertness during work.
- Assists in fast recovery from tying up.
- Ideal for travel—horses unload feeling ready to perform.
