Anitone is an Australian made, natural organic liquid mineral and trace element feed supplement for all animals. Anitone provides over 60 minerals and trace elements in a highly bioavailable, chelated form to supplement the diets of all domestic animals.
Why Anitone?
Anitone is the only liquid animal supplement available on the market for animal production with such a comprehensive range of ingredients, containing not only essential minerals, but also amino acids, and Vitamins A, D and Vitamin E.
Anitone is the only feed supplement on the market that is fermented in a process that mimics natural digestive processes, and is therefore highly palatable and relished by most animals.
How is Anitone made?
Anitone is derived from a careful manufacturing process that involves the fermentation of mineral rich plant extracts together with common stockfeed ingredients, such as molasses. This fermentation process enhances the value of all the ingredients contained in Anitone, and elevates it from a regular stock feed supplement to a "super food".
Vitamins and minerals that have been absorbed into plants form complex molecules called "phytocomplexes". These complicated natural substances cannot be reproduced in a laboratory and are becoming increasingly recognized as superior dietary sources of many nutrients. As the fermentation process used in making Anitone mimics digestion, the vitamins and minerals it contains thus become highly bioavailable to gut microflora immediately after dosing over the tongue, or mixing in feed or water.
There are over 60 minerals contained in Anitone, along with good levels of Vitamin A, D and E, plus a range of amino acids essential for growth and metabolism. In addition, Anitone provides a wide variety of plant origin volatile oils, chlorophyll, sterols, growth factors, alginates, humic and fulvic acids, vitamins and trace minerals, including many trace minerals such as selenium, zinc, iron, copper, cobalt, zinc, chromium, boron, manganese, nickel, vanadium – some of these more obscure elements are being proven by modern research to have emerging roles in maintaining peak metabolic function.
Most of these nutrients are also fundamental to maintaining healthy gut microflora, which perform the real work of digestion for the animal.
Many of these nutrients may be missing from modern diets, especially when they contain processed food, or from marginal pastures during harsh seasons, or may easily become depleted in times of stress and high physical demand.
The addition of Anitone to any animal production operation therefore ensures that animals gain maximum benefit from their daily food due to its supportive effect on gut microflora. However Anitone is a truly multi-tasking product because it can also be used in a bolus dose down the throat to revive a depressed or weakened animal, or to change mental attitude and enable the animal to cope with stress. For this reason, Anitone is a very useful product for animal owners to use to buffer the stress of the transport journey itself, or period of travelling away from home to competitions or sales.
How to Use Anitone:
Anitone is highly water soluble, and is designed for oral use which can be in a variety of ways to suit many operations.
- May be used as an oral drench and mixes well with most water soluble commercial drenches and will not damage drench gun rubbers, animal's mouths or human skin as it is a completely natural product.
- May be poured over feed rations, or mixed through them – either pour over the total ration (calculate per head dose or use at 5% ration), or can be poured or sprayed onto hay, or sprayed over grain via a grain applicator, (standard rate to spray into grain of 10 litres liquid per ton, using 5 litres Anitone mixed with 5 litres water)
- May be added to drinking water wherever there is good flow through watering systems, and may be added to overhead tanks or distributed into sheds and troughs, providing water is not allowed to become stagnant. If added to drinking water, use at rate of 2%, or calculate dose per head according to known water consumption.
- Is useful as a single shotgun dose if not convenient to give regularly, but works best when adapted to frequent and regular doses, at least once or twice weekly if possible. May also be given daily to show and performance animals, or animals that are in recovery or subjected to repeatedly stressful conditions.

TURMERIC (curcuma longa and curcuma xanthorhizza):
Known as the vibrant golden ingredient used liberally in Indian curries, turmeric has a long history of use in both Indian and Chinese traditional medicine. The inherent therapeutic properties are attributed to the vivid yellow-orange pigments (curcuminoids) that are present in turmeric. They are believed to have powerful antioxidant properties (significantly more so than vitamin E or C) and may increase the body's ability to neutralise free radicals before they damage healthy cells and cell membranes. In combination with its perceived anti-inflammatory effects, turmeric has also been known for its role in the prevention or alleviation of an impressive array conditions.
Turmeric may also be useful in reducing inflammation particularly for animals with arthritis and itchy skin.
GROUND BLACK PEPPER:
The inclusion of ground black pepper to this mix may increase the bio-availabilty and absorption rate of turmeric and Resveratrol.
POWERSTANCE (powdered coconut oil):
Stance Equine's powdered coconut oil supplement is a unique coconut delivery system that gives the benefits of this wonderful tropical oil and may also help to increase the absorption of turmeric in the digestive system. Coconut oil contains high levels of medium chain triglycerides (MCT's) which provide the body with a readily available energy source and Lauric Acid, which converts to monolaurin and may provide anti-bacterial, anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties. The benefits of supplementing animals with coconut oil may include improved digestive health, enhanced coat and skin condition.
RESVERATROL:
Resveratrol is produced in plants to maintain their general health. Normal body functioning gives rise to free radicals with production greatly increased during inflammation and stress. Resveratrol has been added to Turmericle as it is an antioxidant that may help the body efficiently detoxify these free radicals. The resveratrol is derived from Japanese knotweed.

Actively fights the dehydration that kills. Vytrate reduces scour duration and severity, replaces lost fluids and electrolytes.
Dosage:
Reconstitution/ Dilution
Sections 1 and 2 must be used together.
Add the contents of section 1 and section 2 to 2 litres of warm water. Stir until dissolved.
To prepare 500 mL, add 1 level 5 mL medicine spoonful of powder from section 1 and 3 heaped spoonfuls of powder from section 2. Refrigerate remaining solution after use and use within 24 hours. Prepare fresh solution daily.
Foals:
Administer solution, made up as directed, orally to scouring or dehydrated foals by drenching using a bottle or stomach tube. As a guide, 1 to 2 litres of fresh Vytrate solution 2 to 3 times daily, depending on bodyweight and severity of the symptoms, has been reported as a suitable dosage regimen for neonatal foals.
Cats, Dogs:
Vytrate solution, reconstituted as directed, should be made available to diarrhoeic or dehydrated animals as supportive therapy following specific treatment for the conditions described.
Many dogs find Vytrate palatable and will drink the solution voluntarily. Palatability for cats is variable. Vytrate may also be administered orally via dosage syringe. Treatment should be continued for 1 to 2 days after the animal appears clinically recovered and is feeding normally. As a guide, the following dosage regimens of prepared Vytrate solution are recommended:-
Cats, miniature dogs (<5 kg): 125 mL 2-3 times daily
Small dogs (5 – 10 kg): 250 mL 2-3 times daily
Medium dogs (11 – 20 kg): 500 mL 2-3 times daily
Large dogs (>20 kg): 750 mL 2- 3 times daily
Calves:
Bought-in or Stressed Calves (not scouring):
Feed 2 litres of diluted solution, made up as above, as the first feed on arrival.
For the next scheduled feed, use 1 litre diluted solution at the same time as, but not mixed with, milk or milk replacer. Thereafter, feed normal diet.
Scouring Calves:
Feed 1 to 1.5 litres of diluted solution per 10 kg bodyweight daily, divided into two or more daily doses.
If scouring is established or severe, causing dehydration, the higher dose should be used initially and fed in three or four divided doses. 2 litres of diluted solution given morning and night will be adequate in many cases. Replace with fresh solution every 24 hours. To maintain adequate energy and nutrient intake, milk feeding should continue as normal during periods of scouring. Diluted solution should be given between these milk feeds.
• Fresh drinking water should be available at all times.
• Keep feeding utensils clean and avoid overfeeding.
• Normal feeding should be resumes after the course of treatment.
• Many scouring problems can be avoided by feeding adequate colostrum early in the calf’s life.
• Seek veterinary advice if blood is present or if scours persist beyond four days.
Pigs:
Suckling Piglets:
Make available solution made up as directed to the whole litter in a cube drinker or similar clean vessel as soon as scour symptoms show. A litter of 1 week old piglets will consume approximately 2-3 litres per day. The amount consumed will increase with the age of the piglets. Piglets may be dosed individually, by giving 20 to 30 mL diluted solution 3 or 4 times a day, taking care to avoid choking. Take care to ensure that piglets are not left without diluted solution, drinking water, or sow’s milk.
Check the supply of solution every 12 hours and replenish if necessary.
Weaned Pigs
Scouring weaned pigs should have fresh diluted solution available in a suitable clean vessel. Restrict solid feed intake for one or two days, but continue to supply fresh drinking water.
As a general guide, weaners will consume 1-2 litres/ weaner/ day.
Duration of treatment (all pigs):
Diluted solution should be made available for 4 days, but if the scour has not cleared completely, treatment may be continued for up to 8 days in total. If there is no sign of improvement, consult a veterinary surgeon.
Periods of stress:
For the 2 to 3 days following any period of stress (e.g. weaning, transport), Vytrate will help to increase fluid and electrolyte consumption and absorption, so minimising any possible setback. As diluted solution is extremely palatable and excessive drinking may occur, diluted solution at half the strength recommended above may be used, for this indication only. Replace with fresh solution every 24 hours.
Sheep:
Scouring Lambs:
Give 150 to 200 mL fresh diluted solution 2 to 4 times daily as required. The solution should be adjusted to body heat and given via a feeding bottle and teat. The lamb should also suck the ewe.
If bottle-fed, to maintain adequate energy and nutrient intake, milk feeding should continue as normal during period of scouring. Solution should be given between these milk feeds.
Note:
When specific disease control (i.e. antibiotic therapy) is indicated, it can be administered in conjunction with Vytrate. Stressed and scouring animals requiring rehydration are at risk of multiple organ dysfunction. It is strongly recommended that veterinary advice is sought when considering treating dehydrated animals.
Withholding Period(s):
Meat: Zero (0) days
Trade Advice (ESI):
Zero (0) days
Pack Size: Box of 12 x 64g sachets

Alpaca Blend is a mix of grains and pellets coated in molasses and vegetable oil.
Feeding Recommendations:
Generally an alpacas total daily feed consumption will be between 1.2% to 1.5% of body weight for maintenance, 1.5% to 2.5% growing, 1.5% to 2% late gestation and 1.5% to 3% during lactation.
The level of blend fed will vary depending on a number of factors such as body weight and condition, pregnancy, lactation (level of milk production), activity and quality of the roughage being fed.
The portion of blend fed will generally vary between 10% and 75% of total daily feed intake.
Roughage is an important part of their daily intake and must be available at all times.
Introduce Alpaca Blend gradually and avoid sudden changes to diet as digestive problems may occur.
If digestive problems occur reduce the amount of blend being fed and increase roughage consumption until normal digestive activity returns.
When feeding alpacas and llamas be aware that they are prone to choke if they consume food too quickly.
Feed in a manner that will slow their rate of consumption.

Mr Crystal Concrete Tank & Trough Repair Kit is the simple answer to repairing all those leaking concrete tanks and troughs. It is safe for drinking water tanks.
Mr Crystal is a cement based waterproofing compound that chemically reacts with moist cement based substrates forming insoluble crystals in the capillary tracts of the substrate waterproofing the concrete yet still allowing the surface to breathe.Whether they be on your farm, small property or even a household block, Mr Crystal will provide the means of easily repairing any leaks you may have in any concrete water holding structure.
Mr Crystal comes as a full kit to enable you to repair your concrete tanks and troughs with ease.
Mr Crystal is applied to the surface of the concrete. Within concrete are millions of tiny voids. Mr Crystal migrates through these voids by osmosis and capillary action, generating in-soluble crystals as it travels. Mr Crystal is in fact a catalyst, which causes your existing concrete to grow in-soluble crystals. This means you have a large amount of material in the structure, which can generate in-soluble crystals without adding material that will expand cracks. Mr Crystal is stimulated by the by-products of your existing concrete and hydration. This means, each time water is present within the substrate, Mr Crystal will activate.
How does it protect the reinforcement?
Mr Crystal protects the reo in two ways. Firstly, it protects the reo from the elements by excluding water and air from reo tract. Secondly, Mr Crystal chemically protects the reo by restoring the alkalinity of the substrate thus reducing the acidity of the environment in which the reo is located.
Limitations of the product:
Mr Crystal is designed to work on commercial grade concrete that has basic structural integrity. To achieve success with this product you must ensure that, structure is made of concrete containing building cement (commonly known as Portland cement). Movement must be controlled by adequate foundations and reinforcement and finally the structure must be treated according to the enclosed directions for use.
Coverage:
1 Kilogram will treat/cover 4.5 metres of crack.
Surface Preparation:
Apply to cement based surfaces that are free from dirt, dust, grease, oil, efflorescence and other contaminants. With tanks and troughs you can use a scraper and wire brush. Using an angle grinder will give fast accurate results. With a grinder, remember, you are not trying to cut concrete, just "bullying" the contaminants off the surface. Structure to be repaired must have basic structural integrity. Clean out and patch cracks larger than 0.25mm thick with a sand and cement render. Use caustic soda solution to clean oil contaminated surfaces then thoroughly hose down to completely remove contamination. Wet down thoroughly the surface to be coated immediately prior to application.
Temperature:
For best results, apply Mr Crystal when outside temperature is between 10C - 25C.
Mixing:
Mix only the amount that can be used in 10 -15 minutes. Mix .5–1kg with water and bring to a thick paste. Mix thoroughly and add water or product to bring the mixture to a thick creamy, yet just paintable consistency. The final ratio should be about 1kg powder to 375 mL water.
Application:
Mr Crystal can only be applied to wetted cement-based substrates (splash some water on the crack as you go). Apply a strip of mixture 60mm wide with the enclosed brush directly over the crack, working the mixture well into voids. To prevent segregation and keep a uniform mixture stir the mixture frequently during the application and dip brush deep into the mixture so that a thick coat can be applied. You may notice that the first coat appears patchy. As this first coat begins to go tacky, apply a second coat. The "tacky" first coat will "grab" the second coat enabling you to build the mixture up to a total of 6mm thick.
Where to apply Mr Crystal:
Mr Crystal can be applied over or adjacent to cracks, suspected weak points, cold joints, porous surfaces, around fittings. Mr Crystal can be applied to either side of the face of the concrete so you can fix a crack on the outside of your tank while leaving the water within. If you need to work on the inside of your tank you will need to remove the water and wait for the product to have an initial set. Times will vary with temperature however 4 hours is usually adequate. We suggest that you don’t focus a pressure pump stream on your new work in the 1st day as it may wash it off. ie Let the water trickle in.
Mr Crystal migrates through the voids in the concrete and has been known to migrate up to 400mm from the point of application. The resultant crystal growth is the waterproofing effect of this product. The raw product itself is not waterproof (in fact, it is highly absorptive by design).
When applying Mr Crystal where there is flowing water, remember not to be too concerned that some product may wash off. It is important to focus on the intact material (that hasn't washed off) to ensure that it is correctly applied, cured and stimulated.
Tip: If the water is running down a vertical crack and washing the material off try this. Take some short drinking straws, squeeze one end into the crack and leave at a sharp downward angle. This will take a good bit of the water away from the wall. A piece of tie wire with one end flattened will also be effective. Even a shovel or hammer handle leaned against the leak will divert some of the water away from the area to be treated (much like how water runs off the end of your finger in the shower) They can be removed as product hardens.
Curing:
Protect the surface from rain or frost during initial cure. (Approx 2-3 hours). Water cure the treated surface by mist spraying with water 3-4 times daily for 3 days if you wish to hasten the crystal growth. This is helpful on structures that are not intended to hold water. (Eg. Concrete silo bases) In the case of tanks, troughs etc. simply putting some water back in will provide adequate hydration. Even 20 litres of water added to an empty tank with lid replaced will provide a good humid environment to hasten crystal growth.
Tip: On a sunny or hot outside wall, draping a wet bag over your work will help.

Walkease is a hoof repair system created as an early-intervention hoof claw prosthetic. It is not intended to replace other conventional claw shoes currently on the market but to provide lower cost and faster treatment for developing hoof injuries.
The Walkease block is made from flexible EVA material that is soothing for the cow to walk on. The greatest advantage of the Walkease is its speed and ease of application.
Features of Walkease:
- Fast and easy to use.
- Cost effective enough to use on all early cases.
- Specially developed glue and block will bond to hooves almost instantly and last for 7-20 days
- Each block is supplied plastic wrapped to prevent contamination prior to use.
The Starter Kit comprises: 10 Walkease blocks, a tube of special Walkease superglue, a Walkease rasp and 10 pairs of latex gloves, all packed in a useful resealable plastic container.
For further use extra 10-packs of blocks and extra glue are available.
A practical first-purchase would be the Mixed Sizes Starter Kit. This has blocks as follows: 3 x small, 3 x medium and 4 x large. This will allow the user to determine the preferred block size for their own herd use.
Walkease blocks can be used either way up, so suit both left and right claws. The block should stay on from 7-20 days, which is generally long enough for the injured claw to have made a recovery.
Hoof Preparation
Can I use a hoof rasp?
A ‘Walkease’ rasp is supplied in the Starter Kit so the user will have a tool for final correct preparation of the hoof before application of the Walkease block. The purpose of the rasp is to flatten any humps and hollows in the hoof left by the trimming job. The rasp supplied is designed for not more than about 20 hoof preparations. For basic hoof preparation regular hoof trimming tools should be used.
Note: Any rasp must not have aggressive teeth which will leave a grooved surface. The rasp must be clean, as any surface contamination left may cause the bond to fail.
Can I use a grinding disc to prepare the hoof for the Walkease block?
Although a grinding disc is fine for hoof preparation, it is better to use a flat rasp for the final surface. This is because a disc can often leave grooves and humps and hollows. Some grinders use rough chips for their cutting action which can leave the surface rough. The best surface for attaching a Walkease block is very flat and very smooth. Remember the Walkease glue is only paper thin so will not attach in any hollows left by a grinding disc. Therefore, if a grinding disc is to be used for the final surface, it should be the type that uses sharp blades to cut the surface smoothly and it should be used very carefully.
Can Walkease be used if the good claw has little flat surface area left?
The answer is to create as much flat area as you can on the sole. This is best done with a flat rasp. The Walkease block is then glued and pressed on the hoof as normal. Even in cases where the bond covers only 50% (or less) of the block, the block will stay on remarkably well. Remember – Walkease glue has no gap filling properties.
Should I dry the hoof first?
The hoof should not be dried at all. The hoof’s natural moisture content of around 30% is perfect for activating the Walkease glue. Removing this moisture can adversely affect the performance of the glue. Following final hoof preparation with the Walkease hoof rasp, the hoof should not have anything touch it until the glued block is applied.
Using Walkease Blocks
Can I use two Walkease blocks on one hoof?
Walkease blocks can generally be attached safely to claws that are slightly damaged, although we would not recommend attaching over substantial abscesses or bruises. The Walkease glue is very thin so does not create any pressure points or fill any cavities. It is also safe to attach to flesh areas. In fact, cyanoacrylate glues are commonly used in human surgery for attaching to flesh or skin.
Do I trim the Walkease block to size?
Walkease blocks are supplied in four colour-coded sizes. First preference is to use the correct size block for the hoof being treated, so in almost all cases you should find one that fits. However, the block may need to be trimmed perhaps when the hoof is an unusual shape. If this is required, follow these guidelines:
- The block should overlap the hoof outer wall by a few (4-6) millimeters so that the load bearing is contained within the block perimeter
- If it is overlapping the hoof wall or heel too much the block is at risk of being caught by the hoof of another cow
- The block should never be applied with the hoof wall hanging over the edge of the block
What if I drop the Walkease block in dirt?
A Walkease block can be cleaned with hot-detergent water, and then dried and kept clean until required.
Should I rasp the Walkease block?
No, this is not recommended.
Will the Walkease blocks be secure on slat floors?
If the block application has been done correctly, the blocks will handle the slats and gaps in floors. Because of their soft, flexible design Walkease don’t get jammed or ‘popped’ off like other blocks.
What if the Walkease block comes off?
If the Walkease glue is within its effective life (see section on storing glue), and the hoof was prepared as per the instructions for ‘hoof preparation’, then the blocks should not wear off for at least 10 to 14 days, even under very difficult conditions.
If a block comes off and can be recovered, examine it, as it can give a clue as to what is causing any failure. The parts of the block that were attached to the hoof will be seen to have ripped the foam. The parts that have not attached will likely show contamination or areas where the glue has not been in good contact with the hoof. Read through the instructions and it may be apparent that a step was missed or perhaps not followed fully.
Another idea is to try applying blocks to non-injured claws until you have solved the loss problem using other systems to block the injured claws. If the problem persists you should contact us, as we can offer technical advice.
Applying Walkease
Do I remove the Walkease block from the hoof?
There is no need to remove the block at any point. Unlike other types of shoes or hoof-blocks, it is not necessary to remove the Walkease block. Over its life, the Walkease block gradually compresses and thins. The Walkease glue is very thin and causes no harm to the hoof when the block wears off.
Can I apply Walkease on a tilt table crush?
Our preferred crush is a ‘stand-up’ type where each hoof can be put down for full weight bearing as soon as it is blocked. But if you do use a tilt-table crush, please be mindful of the following:
- It is recommended to finish all the preparatory work on the hooves before application of the blocks. With a tilt table crush, it is more important than with a stand-up crush that the hoof preparation is perfect
- The hoof sole must be very flat so that when the Walkease block is pressed against it (by hand pressure only) there is the maximum surface contact area possible. With a stand-up crush where the hoof is put down more promptly, the weight of the cow ensures the block conforms to any irregularities of the sole
- The press time of the block on the hoof should be longer in a tilt table crush to compensate for the fact that the cow is not using its own weight to press the Walkease on while the glue cures
Can I use Walkease in wet weather?
As explained in the section about glue, the Walkease glue is activated by moisture. If the humidity is very low (as in freezing or desert conditions) then it may be necessary to add moisture to the glue by breathing closely on the glued block a few times. But in ‘normal’ temperate zone weather conditions, no extra moisture should be required.
The Walkease system works perfectly well, even in light rain showers. Moisture on the hoof does not negatively affect the success of the bond. However, contamination of either surface is a different matter – both the hoof sole and the block must be kept perfectly clean. The plastic cover on the block should not be removed until the block is ready to be glued.
When do I use a Walkese Wedgie block?
It is common for lame cows to be ‘down at the heel’ causing the toes to become over-grown. The Wedgie block causes the weight of the cow to move forward off the heel and more onto the toe. This can be beneficial for recovery.

WSD Trough Blox is a treatment for stock water troughs to control algal growth and to provide a copper supplement to livestock.
Type of Preparation: WSD Trough Blox contains 63g/Kg copper in a slowly soluble block for use in stock water troughs.
Indications: To control algal growth in plastic and concrete troughs. Milking sheep, dairy cattle & dairy goats: Suitable for use in the water supplies of animals producing milk for human consumption.
Dosage: Always refer to the label. One 200g block is sufficient for 7000 litre capacity trough for 30 days. One 2kg block will treat 70,000 litres for 30 days.
Advice On Use: WSD Trough Blox are safe to use with most livestock water supplies. Do not use in steel tanks or troughs. Do not overdose water supplies when using this product. WSD Trough Blox should not be used in human drinking water. Do not use in areas or districts where high copper levels are known to occur or where there is a risk of chronic copper toxicity. Care should be exercised with livestock fed a ration supplemented with copper or if copper bullets have been administered. For troughs of less than 7000 litre capacity, each 200g block should be divided into the proportion appropriate to the volume of the trough.
WSD Trough Blox's are designed for prevention and control of algae rather than killing algae. If a trough has heavy algae growth it is advised to clean the trough first and then use a WSD Trough Blox to control the future algae growth.
