Animalintex Poultice Dressing is ideal for use on horses to treat infected open wounds, abscesses, cracked heels, puncture wounds, laminitis, seedy toe, splints, sore shins and other inflammatory conditions. It can be applied wet or dry.

Contains boric acid and tragacanth.

Each dressing is individually packaged.

Equitex poultice is a new, medicated non-sterile poultice.

20cm x 40cm in size, Equitex can be cut to size as required and contains Boric Acid, a mild antiseptic.

Equitex is suited to a variety of uses including hot, cold & dry dressings and pressure padding.

This conveniently packaged roll contains highly absorbent cotton wool with a non adhesive, tubular gauze cover, ideal for keeping in the first aid kit or use in wound management.

The highly cushioned padding of cotton wool can also be used for support of fetlocks, hocks and tendons or insulation to keep muscles and tendons warm when exercising or travelling.

• Arnica (arnica montana) has been shown to have an anti-arthritic action reducing pain and stiffness in inflamed joints.
• It has been traditionally usedas a topical application in conditions such as strains and bruises. Arnica has a demonstrated anti-inflammatory action.

How to apply the Decron Leg Wrap Poultice:

1. Before using the Decron Leg Wrap Poultice, thoroughly clean the wound area or inflamed limb with a non-irritant antiseptic scrub and clean your own hands thoroughly.
2. Cut the top of the Decron Leg Wrap Poultice package along the dotted line, above the resealable seal.
3. Remove the Decron Leg Wrap Poultice from the package.
4. Use either the whole piece of Leg Wrap Poultice or cut down to required size (make sure it is big enough to cover entire affected area)
5. Peel off the plastic backing.
6. Place sticky side of the Decron Leg Wrap Poultice onto affected area or wound.
7. Place a leg pad or cotton wool over the Decron Leg Wrap Poultice and then bandage with a stable bandage or a cohesive bandage.

Value Plus Cotton Wool Roll is soft and absorbent. Each roll is interleaved for easy application (cotton wool will not stick to itself when rolled up).
