Because Worlds Best Hoof Oil really works you need only to lightly paint the hoof. It is easy to apply and does not solidify in the cold of the morning or in winter.
DIRECTIONS:
Always shake the bottle (to mix all the oils together).
Apply lightly to the hoof with the brush paying particular attention to the area on and just above the coronet band and do the entire hoof face, top to bottom.
Do not apply heavy amounts, as this will not make the hoof healthier, or repair the hoof any quicker. Mother nature cannot work faster than the horses own optimum ability It will simply waste your time and money.
The product contains pure oils and ingredients and therefore, what goes on, really goes to work immediately.
You will see it goes into the hoof really quickly (just like a quality vitamin E cream on your own skin).
If the hoof is wet you will find that it doesn't sit on the hoof in "globs" to collect dirt and dust and it will not be wiped/brushed off. The patented Saligari oil will help prevent the hoof drying out in summer and the cold and damp getting in during winter because it doesn't seal the hoof like other dressings. The hoof will be able to breathe but be protected from within.
For Normal Upkeep (for good horse husbandry):
Use every second day after work. This can be adjusted according to the weather and if there is a drought, however under normal circumstances for a hoof in good condition 4 applications a week is more than enough even if the horse is being worked and washed daily. For non working horses this can be as little as 2 or 3 times a week.
Apply lightly to the entire hoof paying particular attention to the area on and just above the coronet band and the rest of the face of the hoof. Apply to the frog and sole only 1 or 2 times a week. Again because it really works and goes in, too much can make the frog go soft. Oiling the sole/frog will aid in the reduction of concussion, in most cases and aid the "whiteline area".
Minor repair of broken or hard hooves or shelley hooves:
First week use 5 times a week, and then revert to normal upkeep.
Apply lightly to the entire hoof paying particular attention to the area on and just above the coronet band and for the first week picking and applying to the sole and the frog of the hoof.
For very serious Grass/Sand Splits and Dried out/badly broken Hooves:
For the first 2 weeks apply top and bottom of the hoof once a day. Reduce this to the top only paying attention to the coronet band for another 2 weeks, depending on the condition and severity in the first place. Thereafter, you can go back to normal upkeep of 2-4 times a week for normal maintenance.
Oil the frog/sole 1-2 times a week only once on maintenance.
You can allow as little as 6 weeks for a serious and dangerous perennial split going 3/4 the way up to the coronet band to be totally under control GUARANTEED and around 8-10 weeks to grow out depending on the overall health of the horse.
The product cannot repair a god given or genetic fault in any animal, however, it will aid quickly the repair and health of any hoof that has been a normal hoof and that has suffered for one reason or another through neglect, drought, flooding, or simply hard work.
Remember, it is just as important to oil and keep the hoof in good condition in the middle of winter as it is in the dry of summer, as the hoof soaks up water something like a sponge and this is not good for any horse.

Equinade Pure Stockholm Tar contains 100% Swedish Pine Tar which is renowned for it's natural mild antiseptic quality. Stockholm held a monopoly for selling pine tar and so the premium form of the product became known as "Stockholm Tar". Substitute materials are marketed as Stockholm tar, but should not be used as a veterinary product. Whilst black in colour, the substitute is a residue of charcoal production (poly phenolic liquor) which contains hazardous chemicals and up to 22% water. Coal tar is also used as a substitute which contains the toxic and hazardous benzopyrene (C2OH12).
Equinade Pure Stockholm Tar is a high quality pine tar produced using closed kilns to extract the valuable sap, without toxic bi-products being produced e.g. creosote.

The Decron Leg Wrap Poultice assists in the management of strains and sprains, cellulitis, shin soreness, bruising, swelling and inflammation of the horse's legs and also for the treatment of open wounds.
The unique combination of natural essential herbal oils in a glycerine base provides an ideal natural dressing for inflamed tissues and wounds that has been tested by veterinarians in collaboration with some of the world's most successful and demanding trainers in a range of challenging environments.
The Decron Leg Wrap Poultice provides the secrets to managing wounds and lower limb problems in a simple, easy-to-use system.
How does the Leg Wrap Poultice work?
The Decron Leg Wrap Poultice provides a natural herbal remedy and essential oils in a glycerine base that provides an ideal aid to the management of lower limb problems and wounds.
The "Drawing' agent:
Glycerine is a powerful osmotic agent that 'draws' or pulls fluids.
The removal of excess fluid relieves pressure within the tissues reducing pain and allowing fresh tissue fluid to move into the area, bringing the protective blood cells, oxygen and the nutrients necessary to resist infection and support natural healing*.
The Natural Antiseptic and Anti-inflammatory Agents:
The essential oils in the Decron herbal osmotic gel have a long history in herbal medicine of powerful antiseptic and healing properties:
- Lavender Oil (lavandula augustifolia) has been shown to have strong antiseptic and anti-inflammatory actions with mild local anaesthetic actions and a positive effect on wound healing.
- Melaleuca Oil (melaleuca alternifolia) has been shown to have bactericidal and fungicidal properties with mild anti-inflammatory actions. It is widely used used in the treatment of many human various skin disorders.
- Arnica (arnica montana) has been shown to have an anti-arthritic action reducing pain and stiffness in inflamed joints.
- It has been traditionally usedas a topical application in conditions such as strains and bruises. Arnica has a demonstrated anti-inflammatory action.
How to apply the Decron Leg Wrap Poultice:
- Before using the Decron Leg Wrap Poultice, thoroughly clean the wound area or inflamed limb with a non-irritant antiseptic scrub and clean your own hands thoroughly.
- Cut the top of the Decron Leg Wrap Poultice package along the dotted line, above the resealable seal.
- Remove the Decron Leg Wrap Poultice from the package.
- Use either the whole piece of Leg Wrap Poultice or cut down to required size (make sure it is big enough to cover entire affected area)
- Peel off the plastic backing.
- Place sticky side of the Decron Leg Wrap Poultice onto affected area or wound.
- Place a leg pad or cotton wool over the Decron Leg Wrap Poultice and then bandage with a stable bandage or a cohesive bandage.
Apply each application for 24 hours.
Leave first treatment on for 24 hours and re-assess the injury. A second application can be left in place for up to 48 hours if required.
When treating an open wound, it is advisable to change the Decron Leg Wrap
Poultice after 24 hours.
When the wrap is removed it is usual to see a sticky yellow substance on the wrap. This is tissue fluid and the remains of bacteria that have been killed by the body's white blood cells and the essential oils of the Leg Wrap Poultice which is drawn to the surface of the wound.
This wound should be thoroughly cleaned with a salt water solution prior to the application of another Decron Leg Wrap Poultice.
If the condition does not appear to be responding after the application period, then veterinary advice must be obtained.

ODZON Horse and Greyhound lotion is a good general purpose lotion. ODZON is a must have in the medicine cabinet, suitable for application on:
- Thoroughbred horses
- Harness racing horses
- Equestrian horses, or
- Greyhounds.
It is a safe, general purpose treatment for:
- Shin soreness
- Tendon injuries
- Pasterns
- Joints & muscle soreness
- Swelling with or without heat
Greyhounds: all of the above and also, wrists & toe injuries as well as race falls.
ODZON will NOT return a POSITIVE SWAB, however like all other medication, its use should be declared on the appropriate form.
ODZON can go on over broken skin (e.g. speedy cuts, gravel rash ) on any part of the body except the eye. It may even aid the healing process, as one of the active ingredients is Benzalkonium Chloride, a quaternary ammonium disinfectant useful for cleaning skin, mucus membranes and wounds.
Care should be taken if massaging as scurfing will occur after a few massages. Blistering will occur if bandaging is applied even after a few days, and an occlusive dressing will produce a strong blister almost overnight.
However there does not appear to be any discomfort as the animal shows no signs of distress and makes no attempt to tear at the dressing.
ODZON is best applied by hand or with a cotton wool pad.
Preferably apply 4 or 5 applications of ODZON, allowing a few minutes for each application to soak into the skin.
The meat withholding period is to do with the slaughter & consumption of horses, NOT with Racing.

Strengthens, nourishes and protects the hoof.
Incorrect hoof care could eventually lead to lameness in your horse. To help prevent poor hoof health giving rise to such problems, HoofPRIME Hoof Dressing has been formulated to penetrate and nourish your horses hooves. The large number of high quality oils, phenol, venice turpentine, iodine and other natural ingredients in HoofPRIME help ensure your horses hooves remain healthy.
In dry conditions the hoof becomes cracked and brittle. The regular use of HoofPRIME keeps the hoof strong and flexible. This flexibility allows the hoof to more fully absorb the shock from exercise on hard ground and therefore helps to protect the leg from injury.
In wet conditions the hoof may absorb too much water and become soft. HoofPRIME's oils act as a water barrier to help prevent this, ensuring the hoof remains in good condition.
In addition, this superior hoof dressing need only be applied every second day cutting your costs and your time in half. HoofPRIME is available in either a convenient 900ml container with an easy to apply brush or in a 5Ltr container.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Cleanse horses hooves thoroughly, then apply HoofPRIME dressing with a brush. Cover the entire hoof, working well into the hairline and around the frog. Apply every alternate day under normal conditions or as required. May be used daily during dry weather, or if the hooves are hard and brittle.
