WSD Trough Blox is a treatment for stock water troughs to control algal growth and to provide a copper supplement to livestock.

Type of Preparation: WSD Trough Blox contains 63g/Kg copper in a slowly soluble block for use in stock water troughs.

Indications: To control algal growth in plastic and concrete troughs. Milking sheep, dairy cattle & dairy goats: Suitable for use in the water supplies of animals producing milk for human consumption.

Dosage: Always refer to the label. One 200g block is sufficient for 7000 litre capacity trough for 30 days. One 2kg block will treat 70,000 litres for 30 days.

Advice On Use: WSD Trough Blox are safe to use with most livestock water supplies. Do not use in steel tanks or troughs. Do not overdose water supplies when using this product. WSD Trough Blox should not be used in human drinking water. Do not use in areas or districts where high copper levels are known to occur or where there is a risk of chronic copper toxicity. Care should be exercised with livestock fed a ration supplemented with copper or if copper bullets have been administered. For troughs of less than 7000 litre capacity, each 200g block should be divided into the proportion appropriate to the volume of the trough. 

WSD Trough Blox's are designed for prevention and control of algae rather than killing algae. If a trough has heavy algae growth it is advised to clean the trough first and then use a WSD Trough Blox to control the future algae growth.

Racumin Paste contains the active ingredient coumatetralyl from Bayer at a concentration of 0.037%, just like other Racumin formulations. So what makes Racumin Paste different?  Vegetable fats and carbohydrates are combined in Racumin Paste in a way that is exceptionally attractive to rats and mice. This results in extremely high acceptance of Paste giving excellent results.

Racumin Paste works by preventing blood coagulation, causing death between 3 to 8 days after the intake of a lethal dose, due to internal bleeding.

Is it a single dose or multiple dose? Many rats and mice take in the lethal dose during the first day of feeding which makes Racumin Paste highly effective. The well known environmental benefits of first generation anticoagulants are maintained; the “single dose"lethal effect is primarily achieved by palatability and not by high toxicity.

Directions for Use:
Use 1 bag of Trough Rocks per 200L of water.
1. Trough Rocks keep clean water clean, they do not clean dirty water. It is best to empty and clean your trough before use.
2.Once your trough is clean. Remove tag from the Trough Rocks bag and set aside. Place the entire Trough Rock bag fully submerged into the water. That's it!
3. Set a reminder in your diary for 4 months time. As the rocks are natural they lose their charge over time and need replacing.

How do Trough Rocks work?
Being a paramagnetic rock, a simple ion exchange occurs when the rock is placed in water. Free molecules bond to the rock removing them from the water source.

This paramagnetism inhibits the growth and distribution of algae and bacteria throughout the water. You'll find in the peak of summer the algae may still grow, but due to the ionic charge, will line the bottom and sides of the trough. The water will still be clean for your animals to drink.

Are Trough Rocks safe to put into my fish pond?



Absoutely! They will work the same within you fish pond as in your trough. Keeping the water clean and healthy for your fish and any other animals that live in that water.

Why do I have to change my Trough Rocks?



Trough Rocks are a natural product and their charge cannot last forever. Change your Trough Rocks every four months for the best results.

This Reln water valve is a covered water valve which can be hung over the side of a variety of water containers, from plastic bowls through to old milk vats. The Reln all-plastic water filler is corrosion proof and reliable. The float is livestock proof.

Cetridine Concentrate is a general antiseptic and pre-operative skin disinfectant.

COMPOSITION: Cetrimide 150 g/L, Chlorhexidine gluconate 15g/L

Cetrimide is a quaternary ammonium disinfectant with properties and uses typical of cationic surfactants. It is bactericidal to Gram-positive organisms but relatively ineffective against some Gram-negative organisms and bacterial spores. It is used on skin where the detergent action helps cleaning. Chlorhexidine gluconate is a cationic disinfectant bactericidal against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria but not effective against spores.

Cetridine Concentrate is suitable for disinfection of most instruments and surfaces of equipment.

Cetridine Concentrate can be used as a general antiseptic in trauma, obstetrics, superficial infections, wounds, abscesses etc. in birds, cats, cattle, dogs, goats, equines, pigs, sheep and native animals.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Preoperative skin disinfection, instruments, examination tables, surfaces: Dilute 140mL in 1L clean water and make up to 4L with industrial methylated spirit. Swab area to be treated with this solution. Use prepared solutions within 12 months.

General antiseptic (wounds, minor infections, obstetrics & abscesses): Dilute 10mL in 1L clean water. Swab area to be treated with this solution. Use prepared solutions within 1 month.

Mr Crystal Concrete Tank & Trough Repair Kit is the simple answer to repairing all those leaking concrete tanks and troughs. It is safe for drinking water tanks.

Mr Crystal is a cement based waterproofing compound that chemically reacts with moist cement based substrates forming insoluble crystals in the capillary tracts of the substrate waterproofing the concrete yet still allowing the surface to breathe.Whether they be on your farm, small property or even a household block, Mr Crystal will provide the means of easily repairing any leaks you may have in any concrete water holding structure.

Mr Crystal comes as a full kit to enable you to repair your concrete tanks and troughs with ease.

Mr Crystal is applied to the surface of the concrete. Within concrete are millions of tiny voids. Mr Crystal migrates through these voids by osmosis and capillary action, generating in-soluble crystals as it travels. Mr Crystal is in fact a catalyst, which causes your existing concrete to grow in-soluble crystals. This means you have a large amount of material in the structure, which can generate in-soluble crystals without adding material that will expand cracks. Mr Crystal is stimulated by the by-products of your existing concrete and hydration. This means, each time water is present within the substrate, Mr Crystal will activate.

How does it protect the reinforcement?

Mr Crystal protects the reo in two ways. Firstly, it protects the reo from the elements by excluding water and air from reo tract. Secondly, Mr Crystal chemically protects the reo by restoring the alkalinity of the substrate thus reducing the acidity of the environment in which the reo is located.

Limitations of the product:

Mr Crystal is designed to work on commercial grade concrete that has basic structural integrity. To achieve success with this product you must ensure that, structure is made of concrete containing building cement (commonly known as Portland cement). Movement must be controlled by adequate foundations and reinforcement and finally the structure must be treated according to the enclosed directions for use.

Coverage:

1 Kilogram will treat/cover 4.5 metres of crack.

Surface Preparation:

Apply to cement based surfaces that are free from dirt, dust, grease, oil, efflorescence and other contaminants. With tanks and troughs you can use a scraper and wire brush. Using an angle grinder will give fast accurate results. With a grinder, remember, you are not trying to cut concrete, just "bullying" the contaminants off the surface. Structure to be repaired must have basic structural integrity. Clean out and patch cracks larger than 0.25mm thick with a sand and cement render. Use caustic soda solution to clean oil contaminated surfaces then thoroughly hose down to completely remove contamination. Wet down thoroughly the surface to be coated immediately prior to application.

Temperature:

For best results, apply Mr Crystal when outside temperature is between 10C - 25C.

Mixing:

Mix only the amount that can be used in 10 -15 minutes. Mix .5–1kg with water and bring to a thick paste. Mix thoroughly and add water or product to bring the mixture to a thick creamy, yet just paintable consistency. The final ratio should be about 1kg powder to 375 mL water.

Application:

Mr Crystal can only be applied to wetted cement-based substrates (splash some water on the crack as you go). Apply a strip of mixture 60mm wide with the enclosed brush directly over the crack, working the mixture well into voids. To prevent segregation and keep a uniform mixture stir the mixture frequently during the application and dip brush deep into the mixture so that a thick coat can be applied. You may notice that the first coat appears patchy. As this first coat begins to go tacky, apply a second coat. The "tacky" first coat will "grab" the second coat enabling you to build the mixture up to a total of 6mm thick.

Where to apply Mr Crystal:

Mr Crystal can be applied over or adjacent to cracks, suspected weak points, cold joints, porous surfaces, around fittings. Mr Crystal can be applied to either side of the face of the concrete so you can fix a crack on the outside of your tank while leaving the water within. If you need to work on the inside of your tank you will need to remove the water and wait for the product to have an initial set. Times will vary with temperature however 4 hours is usually adequate. We suggest that you don’t focus a pressure pump stream on your new work in the 1st day as it may wash it off. ie Let the water trickle in. 

Mr Crystal migrates through the voids in the concrete and has been known to migrate up to 400mm from the point of application. The resultant crystal growth is the waterproofing effect of this product. The raw product itself is not waterproof (in fact, it is highly absorptive by design). 

When applying Mr Crystal where there is flowing water, remember not to be too concerned that some product may wash off. It is important to focus on the intact material (that hasn't washed off) to ensure that it is correctly applied, cured and stimulated.

Tip: If the water is running down a vertical crack and washing the material off try this. Take some short drinking straws, squeeze one end into the crack and leave at a sharp downward angle. This will take a good bit of the water away from the wall. A piece of tie wire with one end flattened will also be effective. Even a shovel or hammer handle leaned against the leak will divert some of the water away from the area to be treated (much like how water runs off the end of your finger in the shower) They can be removed as product hardens.

Curing:

Protect the surface from rain or frost during initial cure. (Approx 2-3 hours). Water cure the treated surface by mist spraying with water 3-4 times daily for 3 days if you wish to hasten the crystal growth. This is helpful on structures that are not intended to hold water. (Eg. Concrete silo bases) In the case of tanks, troughs etc. simply putting some water back in will provide adequate hydration. Even 20 litres of water added to an empty tank with lid replaced will provide a good humid environment to hasten crystal growth.

Tip: On a sunny or hot outside wall, draping a wet bag over your work will help.
