My mare cut her leg pretty bad and needed attention for a very long time, changing dressing every day. This has been a life saver .
Great for drawing the infection. I cut off a small patch enough to cover the section of the coronet where the abscess will break out. I apply the animalintex dry and use Vetrap to keep the patch in place. The end of the Vetrap is secured with a small strip of Elastoplast. I then pull back a little of the Vetrap adjacent to the animalintex and pour in a little warm water just to dampen the patch. I renew the dressing every day and the abscess usually breaks out on the forth or fifth day.
