Followed the instructions my 4 chooks didn't appear to drink any of it. No idea if it worked or not.
Prepared this as per the instructions on the bottle for my chickens. It gives the water a blue-ish tint, and I presume tastes terrible because my chooks had one sip then they all boycotted drinking for the entire day. Not good! Fortunately it was not a hot day. Rang the company and they told me to try adding honey to the medicated water or failing that, he calculated the amount per chicken (by weight) to administer undiluted into the beak via syringe. That worked but chooks did not take kindly to the experience and ended up with it splashed over my face and clothes. Overall the product works if you can get them to consume it, but it was a hassle and I would not buy again.
using on sow and piglets and laying hens
I home-grow my own quail, chickens, and ducks for eggs and for meat. This product allows me to safely worm my meat birds whereas other products (like some tablet medications) are only suitable for egg producing poultry. More info about poultry on my own website at www.selfsufficientme.com My Kilverm arrived in a timely manner from Vet-n-pet and they sent emails to update when the item was posted etc, which was helpful. Thanks :)
