I just wanted to give you guys a quick review about the Lickimats! They are absolutely awesome! This item was purchased for our little dog who is fairly small & smaller than most cats! We were actually having lots of issues with him being a terrible fussy eater & not eating enough food & even refusing to eat at all sometimes! We were getting really worried about him & the vet had even told us that he was a little bit under weight. It felt like he was living on fresh air most days. We have tried many many many different types of dog food in the hopes of trying to tantalize his taste buds but it didn't seem to matter what was dished up, he still would not eat a great deal. It then suddenly dawned on me that all of his food dishes are all made with a very slippery surface. It appeared that he was unable to get a proper grip on his food in the dish. I had in the past seen the Lickimats on your website but didn't think too much about them at the time. So, while ordering some treats for him, something promted me to take a look into the Lickimats. The idea of the mat being engaging at meal times, was a real draw card for us. I was curious to see if it would help on the other end of the scale as it is designed to slow eating down for pets, could it encourage pets to eat? What did we have to lose in trying so I purchased one! The different textures when licked to enhance their sense of taste really struck a chord with our little man. He now loves to eat & eats like a little trooper! We are absolutely astounded & thrilled at how well he is now eating! Totally opposite to what he was like before the Lickimats. The mat is also helpful with anxiety & is calming too. We've just recently purchased another one (well, we have three now in total, lol) of these Lickimats as they are fantastic & have totally changed our dog's eating behavior for the best. He even asks for his dinner now & looks forward to eating. A big thumbs up from us & we would highly recommend it to anyone. I am going to buy my niece's little dog one shortly as she is having similar issues with her tiny little dog not wanting to eat a great deal too. Thank you to you all & for your great service.
