This is a great product to use with poultry with respiratory problems, by warming up undiluted vetrx using cotton ball and wiping eyes chooks eyes nose putting some under wings helps the breathing. Add it to water, food, perfect to apply to feed to reduce mite, for further instructions there are plenty of further uses with this product found on google written by other chook people. I have approx 22 chickens living in uncrowded normal conditions, they are laying and eating, drinking well. About 6 of them sound like they have a cold, deeper sounding noises when talking to each other and sneezing, ive also noticed clear fluid, no heaps, coming from their nostrils.shoould i get vet rex for their water, i currently put apple cider viniger in their water and try to give them dried oregano on bread that has been wettened so it sticks. They sound a lil like a child with croup if that makes sense, i am a paramedic , good with people but new with chickens, many thaks mick

Hi Mick

Thank you for your question.
Yes the VetRx should help the chickens with the respiratory condition.
It will not hurt the other chickens.
If possible you should separate them while they are showing symptons.
You may need to take them to a Vet just in case they something a little stronger. The Triple C and Oxymav b are not registered for use in Poultry/food producing animals.
Your Vet should be able to advise if they can be used and any withholding periods.
I hope that helps.
Cheers

Lisa

Would this product work for stick tight fleas on chickens? I’ve been trying so many different things, I’m getting pretty desperate. Thanks

vet-n-pet DIRECT

Thank you for your question.
No it won't help with the Stickfast Fleas.
You could try using the Pestene powder
https://www.vetnpetdirect.com.au/products/pestene
This registered for use in poultry
