Abbey iMEC Broad Spectrum Wormer and Boticide for Horses 7.49g
$12.50
This product will be available for sale in 2 weeks, but you can pre-order now to receive 10% discount!
iMEC Broad Spectrum Wormer and Boticide for Horses is a low volume wormer for quick and easy dosing.
Use for the treatment and control of roundworms (including arterial larval stages of strongylus vulgaris and benzimidazole resistant strongyles), bots, and skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia spp. (summer sores) and onchocerca spp. microfilariae (cutaneous onchocerciasis).
Active Constituents: 18.7g/kg Ivermectin
Features:
• Low volume paste
• Broad spectrum
• Safe to use in ALL horses
• Cost effective
Dosage and Administration:
iMEC BROAD SPECTRUM WORMER AND BOTICIDE FOR HORSES is given orally at the recommended dose level of 200µg ivermectin/ kg liveweight. The contents of this syringe will treat one horse of 700kg or 2 x 350kg ponies. Each weight marking on the syringe plunger will deliver 1.07g of paste which is sufficient to treat 100kg live weight.
Use at the correct weight-based dose. There is no blanket ‘use every X weeks’ rule printed on the label – instead iMEC should be used as part of a monitored parasite-control plan. For many adult horses with good pasture management, one treatment in spring and one in late summer/early autumn will suffice, provided a broad-spectrum product (with tapeworm activity) is used. Horses at higher risk should be assessed by your equine veterinarian, and faecal egg-counts and management factors considered, before deciding on additional treatments
