DIRECTIONS FOR EUTHERIANS
This applies to all domestic animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, horses, alpacas, cows, sheep, pigs & deer. Also used for eutherian wildlife and zoo mammals.
Impact should be fed as soon as possible after birth, and preferably before milk is fed. Impact can be absorbed for upto 48 hours after birth, depending on the species. Weigh the animal and select the appropriate weight range from the chart. Mix the amounts of Impact powder and warm pre-boiled water to make the daily Impact requirement. Refrigerate prepared Impact for one day only or store frozen in ice cube trays for up to 1 month.
Do not mix or feed Impact with milk for Eutherians.
Newborns that have not received maternal colostrum or milk.
First 12 hours: Do not feed milk during this time. Prepare a daily dose of Impact as described above and feed 1/4 of the amount every 2 hours.
Next 36 hours: Commence feeding milk every 4 hours. Prepare a daily dose of Impact as described above and feed 1/4 of the amount every 4 hours. Feed Impact 2 hours after the first milk feed so that the remaining Impact feeds are mid way between the next milk feeds.
Newborns that have received some milk but no maternal colostrum.
First 12 hours: Stop feeding milk. Prepare a daily dose of Impact as described above and feed 1/4 of the amount every 2 hours.
Next 36 hours: Recommence feeding milk. Prepare a daily dose of Impact as described above and feed 1/4 of the amount mid way between milk feeds.
DIRECTIONS FOR MARSUPIALS
Marsupials are different in that they do not produce a colostral milk. Impact is added to marsupial milk because intestinal closure occurs later in marsupiaIs and immunoglobulins are present in milk for much of lactation.
Mix and feed Impact with milk for marsupials.
For very early lactation to mid lactation: Select the appropriate amount of Impact powder for body weight from the chart. Mix the powder into the required daily volume of milk and feed as usual. This procedure may be repeated for up to 5 days.
For late lactation: Select the appropriate amount of Impact for body weight from the chart and add this to the normal daily feed volume of milk. Repeat if required.

For use in hydrobaths. Because of the almost complete absence of organic solvents this product will not damage the pump mechanism of hydrobaths. The vapour is considerably less toxic to the operator than conventional organophosphates.
WARNINGS
In paralysis tick areas, inspect dogs and cats daily.
Directions for use:
Dilute before use. Make up freshly before use.
For dogs, cats, puppies, kittens & rodents: Mix 8mL of concentrate with 800mL of warm water (40mL to 4L) and dip, swab, sponge or spray dog or cat with this solution until thoroughly soaked. Avoid contact with pets eyes. Allow animal to dry naturally. Puppies and kittens should be towelled dry to prevent chilling. For best results do not rinse off. The suggested treatment for continuous paralysis tick control is to rinse the animal according to label direction once every 3 days.
Zone control: To aid the control of flea infestations, bedding should be changed or sprayed with this product when diluted and allowed to dry. Areas frequented by the pet should also be treated with this product (when diluted) when necessary.
For ornamental cage birds: Mix 2mL of concentrate with 200mL water and use this solution in a clean pump spray. Adjust spray to fine, and spray bird lightly all over ruffling the feathers to allow spray to penetrate to skin. Avoid contact with pets eye. Allow bird to dry naturally in a warm place to prevent chilling. Repeat as necessary.

Kitter is a fast acting and highly absorbent wood pellet litter, made from 100% all natural wood with no additives of any kind.
Features of Kitter:
FAST ACTING
ODOUR CONTROL - PINE FRESH SCENT
Not only does Kitter smell great in the litter tray, but, as it absorbs liquids much more quickly, the naturally occurring anti-bacterial oils in the wood can act faster on odour, inhibiting the growth of bacteria, which cause that ammonia smell.
HIGHLY ABSORBENT
One kilogram of Kitter can absorb over 3 litres of odour causing liquid.
ECO FRIENDLY AND BIODEGRADABLE
All raw materials for Kitter are sourced from renewable plantation timber and are 100% bio-degradable.
PURE PRODUCT - NO CHEMICALS ADDED
Kitter is made from all natural wood with no additives of any kind.
GARDEN FRIENDLY
Kitter is great for composting. You can also spread it on the lawn or mix into garden beds. Not to be used in vegetable gardens. Always wash your hands after handling soiled litter and wear gloves.
LONG LASTING
Kitter works with any litter tray. Use Kitter with a two piece sieve tray to make each kilo last much longer. With a two piece sieve litter tray only the wet litter is removed. You only have to add a small amount of litter to replace the litter that has absorbed the liquid.
New to Your Pet?
Sometimes your pet is a bit hesitant to use a different litter, in a different tray, which is understandable. To allow a smooth, trouble free transition, sprinkle some of your old litter over the top of Kitter for a short period until your pet is used to the new litter.
We recommend using the Kitter Two Piece Sieve Tray (sold separately):
- Put a small amount of litter in the bottom layer under the sieve - use 2 to 3 handfuls.
- This litter absorbs any liquid that goes through the top layer.
- Put a layer of approximately 2cm of litter in the top of the sieve and the tray is ready to use.
- Regularly shake the tray.
- This allows litter that has absorbed the odour causing liquid to fall through the sieve into the base.
- Scoop out solids daily.
- The wet litter, in the base, can be replaced as required.
The regular maintenance process of the 2 piece sieve tray:
- Remove all the wet litter from the base.
- Add a couple of scoops of litter from the top of the sieve to the base.
- Then, add a couple of scoops of fresh litter to the top of the sieve.
- This allows the litter to be regularly 'turned over' with fresh litter always being added to the top.
- Every 2 - 3 weeks, or more frequently if required, clean the whole tray with bleach or a non-citrus based equivalent, and replace all the litter.
Regular maintenance of a standard One Piece Tray:
- Fill a clean empty litter tray with a layer of approximately 3cm of Kitter.
- Scoop out solids daily and change the litter regularly.

Key Features:
- Specifically formulated to match the composition of rabbit milk
- Elevated Protein & Fat Content - for improved growth rate of kits.
- Contains 'Milk Oil' - antimicrobial fatty acids that are essential for good gut health.
Success in hand-rearing rabbit kits greatly improves if they receive colostrum at birth. Kits that don't get colostrum from the mother can be fed Impact Colostrum Supplement. Commence feeding Rabbit Milk Replacer after the initial feeds of colostrum.
Making up Milk:
To make 1 litre of milk: Add 360g of powder to 700ml of warm water.
To make 80mls of milk: Add 30g of powder to 60ml of warm water.
Add half the water to the powder first and mix to a paste. Then add the remaining water and mix thoroughly.
Pre-boil the water to ensure it is sterilised. If the water is too hot it can cause the milk to curdle. If it is too cold then it will be difficult to disperse the powder.
Wombaroo contains elevated fat & protein levels, so the milk needs to be well mixed to prevent it from separating out. An electric whisk can be used for mixing larger quantities.
Milk can be stored in the fridge for up to a day or can be frozen for up to 2 weeks. It is useful to make-up larger quantities and store it frozen in small portions (eg ice cube trays), so that the required daily feed volumes can be easily thawed out. Once thawed out, discard any unused milk, and wash feeding utensils thoroughly.
Feeding:
Warm milk to about 35°C. Feed from a bottle with teat, a Wombaroo C Teat or Wombaroo P Teat is recommended. In emergency cases tube feeding may be required.
Rabbit milk is high in nutrient value and the young need only be fed twice a day (morning & evening). Allow kits to drink as much as they can at each feed. Stimulate kits to defecate and urinate after each feed. Kits may be encouraged to lap once their eyes are open and voluntary bowel motions begin.
To avoid dehydration during periods of hot weather give Kits a drink of pre-boiled water between feeds. Always offer kits drinking water once their eyes are open and they become mobile.
Consult your veterinarian or breeder for particular advice about caring for young rabbits.
Growth:
Different breeds of rabbits have different growth rates. Carers should contact their veterinarian or breeder for information about the growth rate of their particular breed. It is important to weigh kits regularly to verify weight gains and determine the volume of milk to feed. Overfeeding milk can cause diarrhoea so feed the suggested volumes in our tables.
Weaning:
Kits may begin to show interest in solid foods around 15 days of age. Ideally kits should be provided with caecotrophs (caecal pellets) from a healthy adult animal to help establish the correct gut flora prior to the consumption of solid foods. These could be mixed in with the milk.
Initially establish young rabbits solely on hay, and then gradually add some green leafy vegetables. Once they start to eat solid food continue to increase solids and reduce milk intake until they are fully weaned at around 5 to 6 weeks.
Avoid any foods containing high levels of starch or sugars (eg pellets, root vegetables or fruit) until fully weaned, and even then only as supplemental foods. Digestive upset due to incorrect feeding is a major cause of sickness and mortality in recently weaned rabbits.

Proteq is heat processed to ensure the highest quality clean bedding is delivered to your stables. Specifically developed for the Equine industry, Proteq has superior benefits in comparison to traditional bedding. Its ease of use, super absorbency and health benefits to horses means that you and your stabled mates will be very happy using Proteq.
The wood pellets are made from softwood sourced from well-managed FSC accredited sustainably managed plantations, which makes Proteq environmentally friendly.
Proteq is an all-natural product that is hygienically clean and super absorbent ensuring a healthy long-lasting alternative to shavings, rice, paper or straw bedding.
How to use Proteq Equine Bedding:
Initial Stable Setup: Using Proteq Equine Bedding is easy and takes only about 30 minutes and it's ready for use. Just follow these simple steps.
Step 1:
Place approximately 16 bags of pellet bedding in a clean 4m x 4m stable with a cement or dirt floor. For rubber flooring you can set up a patch with approximately 6 bags.
Step 2:
Line up the bags along the wall, rip one corner open and follow along the seam. Add 9 litres of water per bag or fill bag with the hose until water drips out of the upper air holes. This will cause the pellets to activate (swell and fluff up).
Step 3:
After 20 minutes, the pellets will have absorbed all the water and expanded to around 3 times there original size. (Note: some pellets will not have broken down and this is normal)
Step 4:
Empty the pellets out of the bags onto the floor. The bed will transform to a soft, fluffy but dense surface.
Step 5:
Using a fork spread the bedding out evenly into the desired area on the floor and make up any banks if required.
Step 6:
Lightly water the bed for 30 seconds to help break down remaining pellets. After 10 minutes, run your fork through the bedding again to fluff it up. Total expansion of bedding can take up to 48 hours.
Stable Maintenance:
Step 1:
Remove solids and completely saturated patches daily. Proteq Equine Bedding separates from manure and remains in the stable, so less bedding is wasted and you will notice that your manure heap will be greatly reduced. Urine patches should be visualized as darker than normal bedding. When removing urine patches, only lightly shake the pitchfork to remove clean bedding. If the bedding does not easily fall through the fork it should be removed.
Step 2:
For full time stabled Horses, add 1 to 2 bags of Proteq Equine Bedding weekly to replenish the bedding removed and ensure it is evenly distributed throughout the bed. The very dirtiest permanently stabled horse may require additional bedding to be added from time to time.
Step 3:
Completely turn the bed daily and spray with water for 30 seconds. This keeps the bedding settled and at maximum efficiency.
Step 4:
Proteq Equine Bedding has fluidity similar to sand. It easily falls through a normal stable fork. To remove smaller manure particles that would usually blend into other bedding types, a pitchfork with narrower tines will be needed.
Helpful Hints:
- Warm or hot water activates the pellets much faster.
- The most effective way to set up a stable is by adding water into Proteq bags standing up for activation.
- Bedding can take up to 48 hours to fully break down and fluff up. Keep this in mind when you are tempted to add extra bedding at initial setup.
- To top up stalls pellets can both be added directly on top of bedding and watered, or two bags will fit into a standard wheelbarrow for activation.

Key Features:
- Specifically formulated to match the composition of guinea pig milk.
- High in Protein Content - to sustain the rapid growth of pups.
- Contains stabilised Vitamin C - an essential nutrient for guinea pigs.
Success in hand-rearing young guinea pigs (pups) greatly improves if they receive colostrum at birth. Pups that don't get colostrum from the mother can be fed Impact Colostrum Supplement. Commence feeding Wombaroo Guinea Pig Milk Replacer after the initial feeds of colostrum.
Making up Milk:
To make 1 litre of milk: Add 190g of powder to 850ml of warm water.
To make 105mls of milk: Add 20g of powder to 90ml of warm water.
Add half the water to the powder first and mix to a paste. Then add the remaining water and mix thoroughly. Pre-boil the water to ensure it is sterilised. If the water is too hot it can cause the milk to curdle. If it is too cold then it will be difficult to disperse the powder. Wombaroo contains elevated protein levels, so the milk needs to be well mixed to prevent it from separating out. An electric whisk can be used for mixing larger quantities. Milk can be stored in the fridge for a day or can be frozen for up to 2 weeks.
Feed from a syringe or bottle with teat, a Wombaroo P Teat is recommended. Feed every 2-3 hours for the first 5 days, reducing this to every 4 hours thereafter. Once significant solid food is being consumed the quantity and frequency of milk feeds can be reduced accordingly. Pups will need to be stimulated to defecate and urinate in the first week of life. As pups are well-developed and mobile, they may be encouraged to lap soon after birth. To avoid dehydration during periods of hot weather supply plenty of fresh water. Consult your veterinarian or breeder for particular advice about caring for young guinea pigs.
Growth:
Different breeds of guinea pigs have different growth rates. Carers should contact their veterinarian or breeder for information about the growth rate of their particular breed. Weigh pups regularly to verify weight gains and determine the volume of milk to feed. Overfeeding milk can cause diarrhoea so feed the suggested volumes in our tables.
Weaning:
Pups may begin to show interest in solid foods around 2-3 days of age. Ideally pups should have access to caecotrophs (caecal pellets) from a healthy adult animal to help establish the correct gut flora. Initially establish young guinea pigs on hay, green leafy vegetables and some pellets. Once they start to eat solid food continue to increase solids and reduce milk intake until they are fully weaned at around 14-21 days. Avoid any foods containing high levels of starch or sugars (eg root vegetables, grains or fruit) until fully weaned. Because of their ability to eat solid foods from an early age, many carers will tend to wean guinea pigs early (around 5-7 days). However this practice restricts protein intake at the peak growth stage, and may lead to developmental problems and even stunting of growth. We recommend to maintain pups on some milk for as long as possible (up to 21 days) as is the case with mother-reared pups.

DErt Control is 100% safe for dogs, cats, horses and even rabbits but deadly to ticks, fleas, bed bugs and all sorts of other nasty parasites.

- Made in Australia – Mined in QLD’s Mt Silvia mine.
- The natural way of eliminating fleas and ticks on pets
The diatom’s porous nature dehydrates the fleas. Because of the diatom’s nature diatomaceous earth needs to be dry while it’s in contact with the fleas to be effective.
Directions for Use:
Diatomaceous Earth is applied directly to your pet’s coat and surroundings. This is safe for dogs or cats, even if it eats some it can act as an internal detox and natural dewormer.
DE can also be used as a repellent as well if you dust your pets after playing in an area that is prone to harbour fleas.
Focus your efforts on your pet’s bedding and other areas they visit frequently. The more exposure the fleas have to DErt Control the faster you will see results. Other good areas to target include the kennel, food bowls and any outdoor areas, that your pets spend a good amount of time in.
For the best effect:
Once a dog or cat pick up fleas, it can be difficult to get rid of the infestation with natural flea remedies. A dog or cat will bring fleas into the home causing fleas and eggs to fall on the carpet, pet bed, and furniture. Wherever fleas land they can breed, so it’s important to think they can be everywhere.
Diatomaceous earth must remain in contact with the fleas to continue working effectively. The diatom’s porous nature dehydrates the flea. Because of the diatom’s nature, diatomaceous earth needs to be dry while it’s in contact with the fleas to be effective.
Keep your pet’s skin moisturised.
If your dog has a sensitive and/or dry skin it is recommended to supplement their diet with an edible oil such as our Hemp seed oil. After about 2 or 3 days you’ll want to bathe your dog. It’s recommended not to bathe dogs more than once a month, since it dries out their skin. It is best to use a soap-free or moisturising shampoo. Afterwards, comb through your dog’s fur with a flea comb to help rid your dog of dead fleas.
Have patience with the process
You should treat your dog’s environment with diatomaceous earth twice a week, leaving it on for about 1 to 3 days. Repeat this process for 2 to 3 weeks. Diatomaceous earth is not a quick fix. It will take time for the flea to come into contact with the diatomaceous earth, and about 48 hours to dehydrate the flea it has come in contact with. The process may take up to three weeks, but it’s efficient, all natural, and dog friendly.
There is no wrong way to apply diatomaceous earth; it just needs to come into contact with the insect to work.
Helpful tips and warnings
Keep in mind diatomaceous earth may dry out your dog’s skin. It’s important to take the necessary steps to prevent or counteract the effects of dry skin. Hemp oils are a great option.
Be sure to treat your pet’s regular hangouts as well.
If you have breathing problems like asthma you may want to use a dust mask while applying.
It’s recommended to treat your dog on a monthly basis as a preventative measure.
Fleas must come into contact with the diatomaceous earth to work effectively.

Oz-Pet Pellets are the ultimate anti microbial litter that will stop the strong pee pong in your litter tray by eliminating rather than masking the smell of ammonia. The eucalyptus oil in the wood pellets will stop the bacteria growing that causes the smell of ammonia in other types of litter.
Other key benefits are:
- Garden Friendly - Oz-Pet litter is recycled and manufactured from waste plantation timber that would otherwise be destined for land fill or burned.
- Will soak up 3-4 times its own weight in odour causing liquids
- Economical - Greater absorbency and less litter used in a tray allows Oz-Pet to last longer than other types of litter
- Safe - No added chemicals and will not clump.
- Recyclable - After Oz-Pet Animal Litter is used it can be composted or used as mulch.
- Suitable for a wide range of pets, including cats, kittens, birds, reptiles, mice, rats and guinea pigs.
The Process:
Oz-Pet Animal Litter has developed a process for converting wood waste from plantation timber into a wood pellet for use as professional quality pet litter and bedding. Raw wood shavings and sawdust undergoes extreme heat and pressure during the pelletizing process, which extracts most of the resins, oils, tars, acids and water from the wood fibre. The remaining organic material gives the wood pellets natural odour control properties. The product reaches between 150 and 200 deg C under 320 tonnes per square centimetre of pressure as it passes through he pellet press. When the pellets exit the milling process the product is completely sterile and has become extremely absorbent. Unlike normal wood shaving and saw dust 1kg of Oz-Pet Animal Litter can absorb up to 4 litres of liquid.
Directions for use:
Oz-Pet litter can be used in ordinary litter trays or to enjoy the full benefits of Oz-Pet, use the Oz-Pet Cat Loo (sold separately).
Pour Oz-Pet into a clean empty litter tray to a depth of 2.5cm. Scoop out solids daily. Note that as the product absorbs odour causing liquids, the depth of the litter increases. Change the litter on a regular basis.

Wombaroo Echidna Milk Replacer Late Lactation (formerly called >30) is a nutritionally balanced milk substitute for echidna young greater than 50 days of age.
Finely-furred with spines just emerging to fully-spined. Faeces toothpaste consistency to soft then firm pellets.
Key Features
Specifically formulated to match the composition of later lactation echidna milk.
Very high energy (fat) content milk to cater for infrequent feeding intervals.
High in protein to coincide with peak growth rate.
Low in carbohydrate to avoid digestive upset and fermentation of milk in the gut.
Also suitable for young platypus.
Feeding Guidelines:
Echidna milk composition changes significantly as the young ages. Echidna Milk Replacer Late Lactation is specially formulated for older juveniles, when they would normally be deposited in the burrow (greater than 50 days of age). At this stage they are growing spines, and rapidly increasing in body weight. These animals require a high energy (fat) milk to cater for infrequent feeds, and large quantities of protein for growth. Note that age estimation of echidnas based on body length or weight becomes inaccurate after 50 days of age.
Success in hand-rearing furless echidnas greatly improves if they receive Impact Colostrum Supplement within a week of coming in to care. However Impact may also be of benefit to more advanced, spined young with a compromised immune system. Refer to "Directions for Marsupials" under the Impact feeding guidelines.
Making up Milk:
To make 100mL of milk: Mix 36g of powder (5 scoops) with 70ml of warm water.
To make 700mL of milk: Mix 250g of powder with 70ml of warm water.
Add half the water to the powder first and mix to a paste. Then add the remaining water and mix thoroughly. Pre-boil the water to ensure that it is sterilised. If the water is too hot it can cause the milk to curdle. If it is too cold then it will be difficult to disperse the powder. Wombaroo contains elevated protein and fat levels, so the milk needs to be well mixed to prevent it from separating out. An electric whisk can be used for mixing larger quantities. Milk can be stored in the fridge for a day or can be frozen for up to two weeks. It is useful to make up milk in larger quantities and store it frozen in small portions (eg ice cube trays), so that the required daily feed volumes can be easily thawed out. Once thawed out, discard any unused milk, and wash feeding utensils thoroughly.
Feeding:
Warm milk to about 30°C and feed from the palm of the hand or a shallow rubber bowl. Thorough washing of hands and wearing of powder-free disposable rubber gloves may be useful to reduce the risk of contamination with micro-organisms. Echidna young suckle vigorously and milk can be consumed up to a rate of 2ml per minute. This rapid intake of milk with a high nutrient content means that young echidna feed infrequently. In the wild, burrow young (>50 days of age) are only suckled by their mother about once every 5 days. Digestion of milk is slow, so the contents of the stomach need to be fully emptied before the next feed. For hand-reared animals we recommend to feed at least 2 days apart. This time frame may be further extended as the animal gets older and well-established. Note that the Wombaroo Feeding guidelines give average daily feed volumes, so multiply this by the number of days between each feed.
If the young is showing signs of dehydration (eg during hot weather), give extra drinks of water between feeds. Echidnas dehydrate rapidly if not maintained under optimum husbandry conditions. In particular, carers often keep echidnas at too high a temperature, which can cause dehydration. It is important to provide housing where temperatures do not exceed 30ºC. Fresh drinking water should always be available once animals become mobile. Consult your veterinarian or specialist wildlife carer for further information about husbandry and feeding of young echidnas.
