Chewstop Spray can also be used to deter dogs from chewing bandages after injuries or surgery.

Re -apply daily for two to four weeks to ensure dog will no longer show interest in the object.

Make sure your dog or puppy has access to alternative toys or objects that they are allowed to chew on.

Active constituent: Denatonium benzoate 200 mg/mL

SIZES: 200mL; 500mL

Useful Hints on effective use of Chewstop Spray....

When you first use Chewstop, apply a small amount to a piece of tissue or cotton wool and place it near your dog's mouth and allow him to smell it and taste it. The dog should find the smell and taste unpleasant and should recoil from it. (Make sure the dog does not eat it!!! ?)

You want the dog to learn the connection between the taste and the odour of the deterrent so that he'll avoid chewing objects that smell like it. After letting your dog taste the Chewstop on the tissue, spray or rub it on all objects you don't want him to chew or lick. (Test on inconspicuous areas first for colorfastness on fabric items - avoid veneer finishes). Reapply the deterrent every day for two to four weeks to be sure the dog will no longer be interested in chewing those objects.

Make sure there are appropriate boredom buster toys and chew toys available to the dog or pup that he knows he is allowed to chew on.
