Hygain Performa 3 is a premium omega oil supplement formulated to provide horses with a balanced source of Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids. Combining flaxseed oil, canola oil, fish oil and garlic, Performa 3 delivers both plant and marine sources of essential fatty acids to support overall health, condition and performance.

Unlike many plant-based omega supplements, Performa 3 contains fish oil, providing the important long-chain Omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA in a form that can be readily utilised by the horse.

Why Omega 3 Fatty Acids Matter

Omega 3 fatty acids cannot be produced by the horse and must be supplied through the diet. Modern equine diets can often contain higher levels of Omega 6 fatty acids than Omega 3, particularly where horses have limited access to fresh pasture.

Performa 3 helps provide a more balanced fatty acid profile by supplying Omega 3-rich oils together with naturally occurring EPA and DHA from fish oil.

Feeding Guide

Commence feeding at 25–30 mL per day and gradually increase over 10–14 days to the recommended feeding rate.

Mix thoroughly into the daily feed. Performa 3 can be fed in conjunction with other oil supplements if required.
