LifeWise BIOTIC Liver (and Kidney) chicken with barley, oats and vegetables is a nutritional aid for dogs suffering chronic liver or kidney disorders.

A growing body of evidence suggests the close relationship between the liver and the gut plays a major role in the development of liver disease. Not only do they share hormones but each is able to influence the other. Where digestive health is reduced, leakage of food particles and microbial remnants from the gut into the bloodstream can overwhelm the liver’s natural immune tolerance which leads to immune response inflammation of the liver. Inflammation is associated with fat deposits which leads to fatty liver disease, cirrhosis and steatohepatitis. It is estimated that up to 95% of obese animals suffer from the effects of fatty liver disease. In many cases gut dysbiosis also leads to bacterial translocation from the gut to the liver, further exacerbating damage to this vital organ.

Additionally, the general increase in protein levels in manufactured pet foods is resulting in more and more dogs succumbing to impaired kidney function due to kidney damage from the excretion of the additional quantities of nitrogen that must be purged from the body via the urine. The specific nutrient ratios in this food are designed to reduce the load on the kidneys, thus preserving what function remains. Unfortunately, there is no cure for kidney damage.

After 50 years of ongoing research into the application and combination of specific ingredients, LifeWise has been able to develop a unique understanding of the role ingredient combinations play in promoting a healthy gut environment to reverse the state of dysbiosis which in turn protect organs such as the kidneys or liver.

Tuffrock Conditioner Plus is an all-in-one liquid feed additive that supports the generation of collagen, digestive health, feed conversion and overall well-being. It is fantastic for coat, mane, tail and hoof condition as well as joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and mucosal linings. Tuffrock Conditioner Plus is indicated for clinical use with race horses that are poor doers, teeth grinding, biting or difficult starters.

Tuffrock Conditioner Plus comes in liquid form, is simple to use orally or by adding to feed. Conditioner Plus is all natural and contains no drugs, chemicals, antibiotics, probiotics, enzymes or heavy metals. Conditioner Plus is naturally palatable to horses and easily complements all types of feed. It also contains nominally 5% per serve essential earth minerals including zinc to aid joint health, performance and stamina.

20 mL twice a day is indicated to support:

Directions for Use:

Shake before use.

Paste over the tongue or add to the feed.

Some horses have difficulty maintaining condition which can be related to stresses of work load, stabling, traveling, competing, adjusting to new conditions, seasonal changes in pastures or simple adjustments to feed. It is with these stresses in mind that TuffRock as developed Conditioner Plus to complement balanced feed programs, guarding against toxin overloads and reducing supplement usage by supporting a horse's normal physiology.

Ripstop fabric is a durable fabric that is made using a special reinforcing technique that makes it resistant to tearing and ripping. It’s often used in making products for the outdoors such as sails, tents, sleeping bags, flags and banners to name a few. It will stand up well to dogs that are tough on their beds but it is not indestructible. If your dog chews or scratches destructively no soft dog bed will be a match for them.

Product Care:
Remove the cover, machine wash at 40c using mild detergent. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean. Cool tumble dry only. The foam can be spot cleaned as required.
