Kelato SwellDOWN is a clay poultice that quickly takes heat out of inflammation, reducing swelling and overall leg soreness. Can be used on broken skin & easy to wash off.

SwellDOWN's special mixture of montmorillonite clay and unique therapeutic ingredients has a cooling effect on injuries often caused by hard knocks or jarring. The clay, used as a poultice, draws out heat and reduces swelling commonly generated at damaged sites to aid a more rapid recovery. It is fast, effective and an excellent tightener around knees, ankles and tendons.

SwellDOWN contains NO substances in concentrations that breach the rules of racing.

The combination of wet clay, essential oils and minerals in SwellDOWN has a cooling effect on the skin. Heat produced by exercise or injury is drawn out at a rapid rate, limiting hypoxic (lack of oxygen) damage and reducing the risk of oedema (fluid retention) and muscle damage, thereby aiding recovery.

Directions for Use:
LEGS

• Cleanse the area thoroughly.
• To assist as a preventative after racing, competition or heavy exercise, coat targeted area with SwellDOWN.

To relieve soreness and swelling, and for maximum results:

• Cover area to be treated with a liberal amount of SwellDOWN.
• Wrap with moist paper (preferably brown paper or newspaper).
• Apply Kelato's EnduroWRAP cohesive bandage to hold in place.
• Leave in place for 2 to 4 hours then wash off with water, ensuring all SwellDOWN is removed.
• May be used daily.

FEET

• To draw out stone bruises and for general hoof soreness, pack bottom of hoof with SwellDOWNand hold in place with moist paper (preferably brown paper) and hoof boots.

KRUUSE Manuka Honey Non-Adherent Dressings are for wounds with little exudate or in combination with KRUUSE Manuka Gel.

They are composed of Honey impregnated into acetate gauze.

The dressing promotes a moist wound environment conducive to healing.

KRUUSE Manuka Honey Dressings are primary wound dressings impregnated with 100% Leptospermum scoparium honey from New Zealand.

The dressings are highly osmotic and acidic at 3.6pH to encourage a moist environment with anti-bacterial properties for primed nourishment.

Jelonet is a paraffin gauze dressing that soothes and protects wounds and allows free passage of exudate. Jelonet is soothing and low-adherent and allows the wound to drain freely into an absorbent secondary dressing.

Jelonet maintains shape and has interlocking threads which minimise fraying when the dressing is cut to shape.

Jelonet is not medicated and so is ideal for use with the topical antiseptic or antibiotic of choice.

Each sheet measures 10cm x 10cm.

Sold as a box of 10 sheets.

Horses readily accept poultice application, just apply a small amount to area of concern, step back and let the horse feel the soothing effect, then apply 5 – 7 mm thick the area. Please ensure cover extends to at least 2 inches outside the treatment area.

Can be used without bandaging, or otherwise apply liberally, cover with damp paper, plastic and lightly wrap. Pressure bandaging is not required.
