Eraquell Pellets are an easy in-feed worming treatment for horses, designed as palatable cereal pellets that can be mixed directly with feed — ideal for horses that resist paste or syringe wormers. These convenient pellet granules provide a simple and stress-free way to control internal parasites while ensuring your horse receives the full dose.
Each 35g sachet contains 140mg Ivermectin and treats horses weighing up to 700kg.
Eraquell delivers broad-spectrum, all-round protection against major equine worms, including:
- Large Strongyles
- Small Strongyles
- Pinworms
- Large roundworms
- Hairworms
- Bots
- Lungworms
- lntestinal Threadworms
- Control of skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia spp. cutaneous larvae (summer sores), and Onchocerca spp. microfilariae (cutaneous onchocerciasis).
Dosage: Administer 5g Eraquell Pellets Palatable Wormer for Horses per 100kg body weight. One 35g sachet of Eraquell Pellets Palatable Wormer for Horses is sufficient to treat a 700 kg horse.
Give 1/2 a sachet to ponies weighing 300-350kg.
How to give Eraquell Worming Pellets to your horse:
Eraquell is formulated in a palatable cereal pellet which is readily accepted by horses. Calculate the correct dosage for the horse's body weight. Tear open the sachet and pour the required amount of Eraquell Pellets Palatable Wormer for Horses into a medium size container or feed bucket and offer to horse. Ensure consumption of entire dose by removing bridle before treatment and preventing spillage or dropping of pellets during feeding. If the horse does not eat all the pellets from the bucket, add a small amount of pre-mixed feed or grain (up to 1 handful) to the remaining pellets and mix together and offer to the horse again, until the entire dose is consumed. Failure to consume the entire dose of pellets may result in decreased efficacy.
Safety: Eraquell Pellets Palatable Wormer for Horses is safe for use in all horses, including pregnant mares and breeding stallions. Eraquell Pellets Palatable Wormer for Horses is not recommended for use in foals, due to risk of incorrect dosing and subsequent adverse outcomes.
Avoid consumption of pellets by dogs.
Pack size: Each carton contains 1 x 35g sachet of Eraquell Pellets.

What is Equimax?
Equimax is a broad spectrum horse that contains Abamectin and Praziquantel.
Abamectin is an efficient broad-spectrum wormer and Praziquantel is totally effective against tapeworm. This offers horse owners the opportunity to treat for every worm when they drench their horse. Equimax is the only horse wormer available that can deliver this promise. This ensures that their horse has the least chance of developing worm related colic or illness.
Equimax Dosage Information
Dose rate of 1mL/20Kg bodyweight
Being a paste with a larger volume dose size (16.2grams or 32.4grams) means that if any of the dose is spilt or rejected then the wasted amount of active ingredient is minimised.
Dosage rate of every 6 - 8 weeks ensures effective control of all worms as this period takes into account the lifecycle of all worms. A strategic worming program should take into account the peak seasons for worming for specific worms (e.g. Tapeworm coming into winter). Without regular assessment of worm status (every 8 weeks) and strategic drenching, it is possible that total worm control will not be achievable.
Safety at up to five times the recommended dose rate in adult horses. The benefit to the consumer is that in a healthy adult horse, a dangerous overdose is virtually impossible when dosing with one syringe.
Equimax Worming Rotation
It is recommended to practise rotation of wormers to help prevent or slow the development of resistance. Products should be rotated yearly with one active being used for an entire year and then switching to a different active for the next year.
Strategy-T and Equimax contain completely different actives so make excellent rotation partners. During a Strategy-T year, Equimax needs to be included twice, as Strategy-T does not treat bots. Bots must be treated at the end of autumn and the beginning of spring.
Treatment of mares and foals
Equimax is safe to use in pregnant and lactating mares as well as young foals. Pregnant mares should be treated as normal during their pregnancy taking care not to stress them during treatment. Mares should be wormed two weeks prior to their expected foaling date. Once a mare has foaled the mare and foal should both be wormed starting from when the foal is six weeks old. Young horses need to be treated differently to older horses because they are at risk of mectin resistant ascarids. Ascarids appear to be the worm developing resistance to mectins. Generally ascarids are not found in horses over two years of age as horses seem to develop a natural immunity to these worms as they mature. Horses under two should be wormed every six weeks with Equimax Elevation. Once a horse turns two they should be then put on the Equimax/Strategy-T rotation program, however Equimax Elevation is safe to use in horses of all ages if you wish to.
What does Equimax protect against?
Equimax is a broad-spectrum worming paste that is up to 100% effective in treating all major internal parasites in horses including:
- Large strongyles (Strongylus vulgaris, Strongylus edentatus, Strongylus equinus and Triodontophorus spp.).

Equimax Elevation offers 3 way action for complete protection. There is no horse wormer on the market quite like Equimax Elevation. A unique formulation of three active ingredients designed to combat mectin resistance, Equimax Elevation is particularly suitable for worming young horses from 6 weeks to 24 months.
That's because young horses need special protection from potentially mectin resistant ascarids, a problem worm in horses under two years old. Ascarids can build up to life threatening numbers in a short time, causing severe blockages in a young horses comparatively smaller intestinal tract or permanently damaging their developing lungs. Equimax Elevation completely protects young horses from ascarids, as well as all other worms.
INDICATIONS:

Ultimum is a broad spectrum and long-acting horse wormer and boticide gel which contains the active ingredients moxidectin and praziquantel.
Ultimum is indicated for the control of tapeworm and all important susceptible strains of gastrointestinal roundworms, including adult and encysted stages (DL, LL3, EL4) and benzimidazoleresistant strains of small strongyles, and aids in control of early encysted stages (EL3), including inhibited larvae.
When used as directed, Ultimum is safe in foals over 4 weeks of age and in all breeding stock, including stallions and pregnant mares.
- Ultimum is a palatable and effective gel.
- Developed and made in Australia.
- Treats horses up to 700 kg.
Why Choose Ultimum?
TIMELY - Ultimum is recommended for horses with a suspected large burden of encysted small strongyles (roundworms) typically in late Autumn or early Spring. It is also recommended for new horses arriving on a property with an unknown worming history.
TARGETED - Ultimum is the ideal wormer for young and adult horses with a suspected large burden of encysted small strongyles. It is also recommended for new horses arriving on a property with an unknown worming history.
POWERFUL - Ultimum contains moxidectin, a powerful and persistent second-generation ‘mectin’. When administered as part of Virbac’s Gold Standard strategic worming program, ULTIMUM provides horses effective and sustainable worm control in conjunction with EQUIMAX, EQUIMAX ELEVATION and STRATEGY-T. The Egg Reappearance Period (ERP) for ULTIMUM is at least 14 weeks, which means that recontamination of the pasture by strongyle eggs is significantly reduced during this period. It is important to note that resistance may develop to any chemical.
PALATABLE - Ultimum is an oral gel and easy to administer.
AUSTRALIAN - Developed and made in Australia specifically for Australian conditions.
Recommended for:
Yearling to Adult Horses: Ultimum may be recommended for horses with a suspected large burden of encysted small strongyle larvae.
High Shedders: Treatment with Ultimum may be recommended for horses with repeated high faecal egg counts and suspected large burden of small strongyles.
Quarantined / New Horses: Ultimum is recommended for new horses arriving on a property with an unknown worming history. Horses that are below 2 years of age should be given 2 separate worming products i.e. Ultimum and Strategy-T, but for horses over 2 years of age treat with Ultimum or as recommended by your veterinarian.
COMPOSITION:
Moxidectin 20mg/mL
Praziquantel 125mg/mL
SIZES:
14.4 g single syringe
