Back in 2005, before online shopping was part of everyday life, Belinda and Glenn were simply trying to solve a problem they knew all too well.

Living on a property on the outskirts of Brisbane with a house and farm full of animals, they were constantly juggling work, family and the never-ending list of things their pets and livestock needed. Finding the time to drive from store to store, only to discover what they needed wasn't available was frustrating and inefficient.

So they decided there had to be a better way.

Combining Glenn's veterinary experience, Belinda's rural merchandising background and a healthy dose of determination (plus a dial-up internet connection!), vet-n-pet DIRECT was born.

More than 20 years later, we're still proudly Australian owned and operated, and we're still guided by the same simple idea: make it easier for people to care for the animals they love.

Today, we ship pet and animal supplies to customers all across Australia from our warehouse in Jimboomba, Queensland. We stock trusted veterinary products, leading pet brands and everyday essentials for dogs, cats, horses, birds, fish and many other animals.

Our goal is simple: provide everything you need in one place, backed by expert advice and genuine customer service.

What hasn't changed since 2005 is who we are.

We're still a family business. Belinda and Glenn are still actively involved. Our team is made up of qualified vet nurses, animal health professionals and passionate pet owners who genuinely care about helping customers find the right products for their animals.

Many of our team members have been with us for years, and between us we share our lives with just about every type of pet imaginable. Dogs, cats, horses, birds, fish, reptiles, backyard poultry and more—if it has fur, feathers, scales or hooves, chances are someone here loves one.

Being based in the semi-rural outskirts of Brisbane, we're often asked why we haven't moved into the city.

The answer is simple. We love where we are.

While relocating might improve logistics on paper, it would mean asking our team to trade a short pleasant drive for a daily city commute. It would also mean taking jobs away from the semi-rural community that has supported us from the beginning.

We believe a successful business should do more than chase the bottom line. It should support its people, contribute to its community and operate with honesty, integrity and purpose.
