NexGard Spectra contains Afoxolaner and Milbemycin Oxime.
Afoxolaner is used to treat and control flea and tick infestation in dogs and Milbemycin Oxime broad spectrum antiparasitic that prevents and treats internal parasites.

Flea Prevention
NexGard Spectra kills fleas on dogs fast, helping keep your dog healthy and your home flea-free. Fleas irritate your dog and can cause skin problems and even transmit disease.
It is best to prevent fleas from the start, however, if your dog does acquire them, monthly give your dog NexGard Spectra as a flea treatment for dogs and stop them from infesting your home.

Tick Prevention
With just one chew, NexGard Spectra helps protect your dog from bush ticks and brown ticks that causes paralysis tick.
Paralysis tick causes the most concern since dogs can die from the effects of toxin it injects.
Avoid life-threatening concerns with NexGard Spectra that acts as a tick repellent.

Heartworm Prevention
NexGard Spectra protects your dog from the effects of heartworm when given monthly. (A heartworm test may be required prior the start of Nexgard Spectra use. Ask your vet for more information)
Heartworm disease is spread by mosquitoes that can be found in every mainland state of Australia. And if left untreated on dogs, it can be fatal, so it's important to protect against this disease.

Intestinal Worm Prevention
NexGard Spectra protects your dog from common roundworm, hookworm and whipworm species.
Effective flea repellent with Nexgard Spectra prevents flea tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum) infestation in dogs. (If you live in a rural area, you may also need to protect against hydatid tapeworm.) Ask your vet about deworming requirements in your area.

Mite Prevention
Nexgard Spectra treats and controls demodectic mange (also called 'demodex' or 'red mange') that are red, itchy skin infection caused by demodex canis
Demodex canis are parasitic mites, shaped like a cigar with eight legs, that live in the hair follicles of dogs.
