Flubenol is a broad-spectrum de-wormer mixed into a premix or final feed. It contains flubendazole, which has efficacy against all life stages of commonly found worms in chickens.
Flubenol aids in the control of sensitive strains of Ascaridia galli, Heterakis gallinarum, Capillaria spp. and Raillietina spp. in chickens.
In pigs, Flubenol aids in the control of sensitive strains of Gastrointestinal worms (Ascaris suum, Hyostrongylus rubidis, Oesophagostomum dentatum) and lungworm (Metastrongylus apri).
Key Product Benefits:
Efficacy against ALL developmental stages of common worms in chickens.
• Zero day egg withdrawal
• Easy administration in the feed
• Has no effect on egg-laying, fertility, hatching or embryo mortality
• The only chicken de-wormer registered for tapeworm control in Australia
Dosage and Administration:
Refer to the product label for full directions.
Use treated feeds within 6 months of preparation. Flubenol should be thoroughly mixed into feed to ensure even distribution. Feed can be administered as a mash, crumble, or pellet.
Chickens
For Roundworms (Ascaridia galli, Heterakis gallinarum, Capillaria spp):
Mix 600 g of Flubenol per tonne of feed (equivalent to 30 g flubendazole or 30 ppm) for 7 consecutive days. For small numbers of birds, mix 1 supplied measuring spoon (13 g) of Flubenol into 21.5 kg of compound feed.
For Tapeworm (Raillietina spp): Mix 1200 g of Flubenol per tonne of feed (equivalent to 60 g flubendazole or 60 ppm) for 7 consecutive days.
Ensure birds have access to treated feed to consume the required dose. Optimal results are achieved with strict housing hygiene management.
Pigs
For intestinal worms (Ascaris suum, Hyostrongylus rubidus, Oesophagostomum dentatum, Metastrongylus apri): Mix 600 g of Flubenol per tonne of feed (equivalent to 30 g flubendazole or 30 ppm) for 10 consecutive days.
For individual or single-dose administration to breeding pigs: Mix Flubenol into feed at a rate of 5 mg flubendazole per kg body weight, equivalent to one measuring spoon (13 g) of Flubenol per 130 kg of body weight.
Resistance may develop to any chemical. Use as directed and maintain effective parasite control through sound hygiene and management practices.
Refer to the product label for full directions.
