10% of horses in training have broken away feet. Scientific studies have shown that Biotin, fed in conjunction with calcium promotes hoof wall and sole growth and strengthens weak shelly hooves.
In CAL-PLUS with BIOTIN, Vetsearch has combined the bone-building calcium, trace minerals and vitamin co-factors found in traditional CAL-PLUS, with the B-Complex vitamin BIOTIN, to assist horses with brittle, cracked, shelly or broken hooves.
Beneficial for:
- Brittle, cracked or shelly hooves.
- White crumbly hooves.
- Slow growing hooves.
- Maintaining bone strength and density.
Why use Cal-Plus with Biotin?
- Works on the inside and the outside of the hoof to improve hoof condition while maintaining strong bone, joint and muscle structures.
- A hoof and bone food in one supplement!
Analysis:
Each 60g dose contains:
Macrominerals
- Calcium 20.1g
- Phosphorus 2.5g
- Magnesium 300mg
- Ammonium Chloride 300mg
Vitamins
- Biotin 15mg
- Vitamin A 5400ug
- Vitamin D3 300ug
Trace minerals
- Zinc 96mg
- Manganese 37mg
- Iron 66mg
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
A daily intake of Cal-plus with Biotin will help ensure the development and maintenance of a strong and sound musculo-skeletal system, including the hoof. Horses on high grain/bran diets, or those grazing tropical pastures, should receive the recommended dose of Cal-plus with Biotin each day to help ensure an optimum calcium:phosphorus ration to maintain strong healthy bones, ligaments and tendons.
DOSAGE Note: It is preferable not to mix any calcium into wet bran mixtures. One level scoop contains 30g of Cal-plus with Biotin. The recemmended dose rates have been calculated to satisfy the calcium requirements based on common diets and activity. However, a veterinarian may prescribe amounts in excess of those recommended to horses with skeletal or hoof abnormalities. Horses with poor hooves should receive adequate levels of protein in their diets to provide essential amino acids, which in conjunction with a daily intake of Cal-plus with Biotin will assist in improving hoof structure.
CAL-PLUS with BIOTIN is a vanilla flavoured powder and is available in 1.2kg, 5kg and 12.5kg buckets.
Hi Form TopLine provides a natural way to achieve top line in just six weeks, gaining that performance advantage you need to win.
TopLine contains amino acids including L-Arginine. Excellent for horses with a poor appetite or in a run down condition.
TopLine DOES NOT contain whey powder, which is used in almost all muscle building products for humans and horses. Whey protein is the protein that is derived from whey, which is a by-product of the cheese made from cow's milk!
Horses are herbivores, whey may acceptable for humans, but I do not feel comfortable feeding it to horses. Human studies published in Nov 2011 stated whey protein may affect glucose metabolism and muscle protein synthesis. However, the evidence for a clinical efficacy is not strong enough to make final recommendations with respect to a specific dose and the duration of supplementation. Other supporting amino acids, herbs, specific B-Group vitamins and trace elements work extremely powerfully in a synergistic way.
TopLine does NOT contain FISH products or other by-products which are totally unsuitable for herbivores!

Equinox Orange Tube is a broad-spectrum benzimidazole (BZ) anthelmintic with a wide safety margin for use in horses of all ages (over 6 weeks). It contains oxfendazole, which interferes with the metabolic pathways of intestinal parasites and sterilises worm eggs within 24 hours, helping reduce pasture contamination and reinfection.
Equinox Orange Tube is ideal for use as part of a rotational worming program. It does not treat or control bots or tapeworms.
Active Ingredient:
- Oxfendazole 10 mg/kg dose rate
Treats and Controls Susceptible Parasites:
- Large roundworms (Parascaris equorum) – adult and immature
- Pinworms (Oxyuris equi) – adult and immature
- Hairworms (Trichostrongylus axei) – adult and immature
- Large mouth stomach worms (Habronema microstoma) – adult
- Susceptible small strongyles (cyathostomes)
- Large strongyles (S. edentatus) – tissue stages
Equinox Orange Tube kills immature and adult stages of large strongyles in the intestine and aids in controlling migrating stages of Strongylus vulgaris. This reduces arterial lesions and may lower the risk of colic associated with heavy worm burdens.
Efficacy Details:
A single dose kills up to 88% of migrating fourth-stage Strongylus vulgaris larvae. A second dose given 48 hours later kills up to 96%. This two-dose regime is recommended for horses with heavy worm burdens at the start of a worming program.
Dosage:
Administer orally at 5 mL per 100 kg bodyweight (10 mg/kg oxfendazole).
- Each plunger mark = sufficient paste (2.7 g) for 50 kg bodyweight.
- One syringe treats up to a 600 kg horse.
Directions for Use:
Equinox Orange Tube may be administered directly into the mouth or mixed with feed.
- Set the plunger ring to the correct bodyweight.
- For oral dosing, insert the syringe into the gap between the front and back teeth.
- Depress plunger fully to deposit paste at the back of the tongue.
- Hold the horse’s head up briefly to ensure swallowing.
- Replace cap if paste remains. Do not use the same syringe on multiple horses due to hygiene concerns.
Frequency of Use:
- Treat every 6–8 weeks for ongoing worm control.
- Foals should receive their first dose at 6–8 weeks of age.
- All horses, especially mares, foals and yearlings, should be part of a regular parasite control program.
- Consult your veterinarian for a program suited to your property conditions.
Precautions:
Not recommended for foals under 6 weeks of age.
Availability:
Also available as a 50 tube stud bucket (see separate listing).
Yellow Tube is highly effective against gastrointestinal, cutaneous and pulmonary nematodes in horses of all ages. Regular treatment with Expel Yellow Tube will also reduce the chances of verminous arteritis and colic caused by strongylus vulgaris.
Expel Yellow Tube combines two active ingredients, Abamectin and Morantel Tartrate, that work together to give a cross kill action on a number of worms including the possible mectin resistant large roundworm. Treatment of large roundworms is particularly important to horses under 24 months of age.
Expel Yellow Tube contains abamectin which kills up to 100% of bots and other worms (including benzimidazole resistant strains),whilst morantel tartrate is effective against tapeworms, small and large strongyles, large roundworm and pinworms.
INDICATIONS:
At the recommended dose rate of 5.4g/100k, Expel Yellow Tube treats and controls the following parasites:
Tapeworms - Anoplocephala perfoliate;
Large Strongyles - Strongylus vulgaris (adult and arterial larval stage), Strongylus edentatus (adult and tissue stages),Strongylus equinus (adults), Triodontophorus spp. (adults);
Small Strongyles - Including (adult and immature) benzimidazole resistant strains of:
Cyathostomum spp., Cylicocylus spp.,Cylicostephanus spp., Cylicodontophorus spp., Gyalocephalus spp;
Pinworms - Oxyuris equi (adult and immature);
Ascarids - Parascaris equorum (adult and immature);
Hairworms - Trichostrongylus axei (adult);
Large Mouth Stomach Worms - Habronema muscae (adult);
Neck Threadworms - Onchocerca spp. (microfilariae);
Bots - Gasterophilus spp. (oral and gastric stages);
Lungworms - Dictyocaulus arnfieldi (adult and immature); and
Intestinal Threadworms - Strongyloides westeri (adults).
Expel Yellow Tube is also an effective control of skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia spp. cutaneous larvae (summer sores) and Onchocerca spp. microfilariae (cutaneous onchocerciasis).
All horses should be included in a regular parasite control programme with particular attention being paid to mares, foals and yearlings. Because re-infection is common, treatment must be repeated routinely for effective control.
Expel Yellow Tube is suitable for horses, ponies and foals from 6 weeks of age.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
One syringe of Expel Yellow Tube will treat a 600kg horse. Each 5ml division on the plunger contains 5.4g, sufficient to treat 100kg of bodyweight.
Expel - Yellow Tube should be administered orally by placing the nozzle into the side of the mouth and deposit the paste as far back over the tongue as possible. Immediately raise the horses head for a few seconds after dosing to ensure the full dose has been swallowed.
Consult your veterinarian for a control programme to meet your specific needs.

When a pet’s joints start to deteriorate due to age related outcomes or lifestyle factors, so too does their quality of life.
This pain and discomfort can have a real effect on a pet’s mood, well-being and overall health.
Pet Drs Hip + Joint supplement has been carefully researched and developed by a naturopath and veterinarian to optimise, maintain and support healthy hips and joints. Specifically containing Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM, Hip + Joint can help relieve discomfort and/or pain as well as doubling as a preventative measure for young dogs predisposed to joint issues.
Specially formulated with:
Glucosamine: is one of the most popular (& effective) ingredients for relieving joint pain and arthritis. Glucosamine helps to stimulate cartilage growth and thicken fluid around the joints to allow for easy movement and reduce pain.
Chondroitin: Chondroitin sulphate is also used to maintain synovial fluid around the joints and help aid with joint pain and movement. It is also an important building block for cartilage. Combined with Glucosamine, the two go hand in hand to give extra joint protection and joint structure.
MSM:MSM helps to reduce muscle damage and also helps relieve general stiffness and pain related to ageing. It does this by inhibiting inflammatory responses in the body and therefore reducing stress on these areas.
Collagen: Collagen is a natural ingredient used to help lubricate the connective tissue that supports hips and joints. It is also great to be used as a preventative for dogs approaching their senior years or pups more prone to joint issues.
Glutamine: is an amino acid used in supplements to help treat and prevent gastrointestinal damage and inflammation in the pancreas (pancreatitis). There have also been numerous studies to show it may be helpful for conditions such as bowel disease, parvovirus and chemotherapy.
Vitamin C: Just like humans, Vitamin C is an essential antioxidant to keep us healthy and alive. This is the same for our pets! It helps by removing potentially harmful free radicals in the body and reducing inflammation.
Omega 3 DHA: Omega 3 is an essential part of your dog's diet! As their body cannot make it naturally, they need to obtain it from their diet. Omega 3 supports an overall healthy lifestyle but most importantly protects and supports joints.
Manganese: This is an important micronutrient that is essential for your pets health as it is responsible for producing energy, carbohydrates and metabolising protein. Most importantly, it plays a role in the health and maintenance of bones and cartilage in joints.
Specially formulated for:
• Senior pet’s struggling with joint issues
• Breeds predisposed to hip and joint problems
• Overweight pets
• Highly active dogs, such as farm dogs, sporting dogs or agility and performance dogs
• Can be used as a preventive supplement
Directions for use:
Administer the daily dose of Hip + Joint over the pet’s food once daily per their correct weight.
See attached dosage guide.
*Please note, this powder is prone to solidifying due to the nature of fruits included in the formulation. The product is still safe and effective to use - simply crush it up and measure your dose as normal.

Tear open the sachet and pour the required amount of Eraquell Pellets Palatable Wormer for Horses into a medium size container or feed bucket and offer to horse. COMPOSITION:
Each Equimax 35mL syringe contains:
Abamectin : 4 mg/g
Praziquantel: 50 mg/g
Treatment of mares and foals
Equimax is safe to use in pregnant and lactating mares as well as young foals. Pregnant mares should be treated as normal during their pregnancy taking care not to stress them during treatment. Mares should be wormed two weeks prior to their expected foaling date. Once a mare has foaled the mare and foal should both be wormed starting from when the foal is six weeks old. Young horses need to be treated differently to older horses because they are at risk of mectin resistant ascarids. Ascarids appear to be the worm developing resistance to mectins. Generally ascarids are not found in horses over two years of age as horses seem to develop a natural immunity to these worms as they mature. Horses under two should be wormed every six weeks with Equimax Elevation. Once a horse turns two they should be then put on the Equimax/Strategy-T rotation program, however Equimax Elevation is safe to use in horses of all ages if you wish to.
DOSAGE:
Dose at 1mL per 20kg bodyweight (5mL per 100kg).
Each syringe of Equimax treats a horse up to 700kg.
All horses should be wormed at least once every 3 months regardless of the conditions in which they are kept. All horses on a property should be wormed at the same time. New horses should be quarantined & wormed before coming onto the property. If you are unsure about what drenching interval is right for your situation please consult your vet.
