Bioscape Under Gravel Filter

The Bioscape Undergravel Filter is a simple, effective aquarium filtration system based on a time-tested design that continues to deliver reliable results. Suitable Substrates:
Undergravel filters work best with standard aquarium gravel or other coarse substrates that allow water to flow freely through the bed. Very fine sand or compact substrates are not recommended, as they can restrict water movement and reduce the effectiveness of the filter.
