Directions for Use

Hoof Gold binds well in a moistened feed, bran mash, molasses or water.

Recommended Feed Rates:
650kg above – 3 x 30g scoops
350 – 650kg – 2 x 30g scoops
350kg & below – 1 x 30g scoop
Mix in wet feed or mix with water and orally syringe if your horse is in a shared paddock.

Can this product be given to lactating mares

Thank you for your Question.
I have spoken to the Vet that formulated Hoof Gold.
His answer is as follows:
Hoof Gold, Bone Gold and Coat Gold were all designed to be safe for lactating mares to ensure all products could be given to postpartum laminitic mares.
Bone Gold was specifically formulated to support the degenerative pedal bone processes occurring during rotational and sinkage laminitis in addition to supporting hoof growth.
For this reason Bone Gold uses Hoof Gold. as the base formulation with additional amino acids, vitamins and compounds specifically associated with assimilation of Bone Collagen Types I, II, and III.

Do you ship to NZ and if so how long does it take?

Yes we ship to NZ.
You will need to check with the NZ Customs to check that they will allow the item you are requiring into New Zealand.
We advise international customers to check with the relevant authorities in their country before placing an order with us.
Any import duties, customs duties or restrictions incurred by international customers are the responsibility of the customer and are beyond the control of vet-n-pet DIRECT.

The New Zealand Customs are very strict with what they allow in.
Delivery to New Zealand:
Standard Post 8-14 business days
