Frontline Plus for Cats

I had to look for another spot on for cats. One of my Rag dolls had a reaction to a product we had been using for a few years, he seems very sensitive. I found that Frontline Plus was very gentle, both my boys were better with this product no tummy upsets of hair loss. I will buy this again.

I am usually very happy with Frontline products for both my cats and dog, but due to a ground flea infestation, it has not protected them this time despite repeated applications. I have treated the ground fleas and look forward to Frontline's effectiveness in future.

We have always used REVOLUTION on our cats but for the last 6 months it seems to have no effect on the fleas at all. The cats are indoor. One cat is a Bengal and he is allergic to flea bites, and loses all the hair around his hind quarters as a result. So whilst he does not seem to have fleas, they are apparently biting him. We now have tried Frontline on him, and after 2 weeks it seems as though the hair is starting to grow back. My only complaint is that the applicator is not easy to use, and the design is quite poor.

I am a cat breeder and recommend his product for kittens 8 weeks old and older cats, its effective and quick acting.

I have 6 cats and i'm happy with the way this product has worked on them to keep the flea problem at bay .

I have 4 cats and this product does not seem to be working i have had to put it on them after 2 weeks and i now have fleas in my carpet which show product is not working as it is suppose to render fleas sterile so no eggs i am not happy at all with this product i will not buy it again

Lulu doesn't react to the smell of Frontline Plus to near the extent she has of 2 other flea products, nor does she run when she sees the pipette. Also it did not discolour the fur of my white cat. However the cats were scratching where I applied it for 2 days but their skin was okay. I will continue to use Frontline Plus because it keeps my cats flea free.

Like this product and it works. Ordered easily and delivered quickly. Using another brand my cat used to bolt like the product was stinging her. Doesn't happen with Frontiline Plus.

My cats don't like having flea stuff put on them, but didn't even notice when I put this product on. Great fast service also

Great product. Hopefully works with ticks too! Of all that i've tried, this one in particular caused no reaction with my puddy. Normally he jumps all over the place cause it must tickle or sting, but with this product, there doesn't seem to be any reaction. Which makes the application THAT much easier :-)

No skin irritation or making the cat sick with this product, and he's an old cat, so that's a releif. Great service from vet'n'pet too and lovely free gifts with this purchase, so thank you.

This product always works. I have 2 cats and using this regularly we dont have any flea problems. I also use this brand on my dog.

I use Frontline Plus as a tick prevantative for my two long-haired cats. I live in an area with lots of wildlife including 'doorstep wallabies' so there are lots of ticks. I realise that Frontline Plus is no longer sold for use against ticks and I assume this is because it is not 100% protection for ticks. However as a frontline defence it is very good. I still check the cats regualrly and remove any ticks I find. In the first two weeks of a month-long treatment regime ticks attached to the cat are usually dead. When the weather is very hot - for us in northern Tasmania that's 26 to 33 degrees C, I sometimes use Frontline after 3 weeks to provide better protection.February and March are our danger period for breeding ticks but ticks are active from Early November on into April.Given the dnager of fatality in a pet and the potential for bacterial infection from ticks I think it is very worthwhile to use Frontline Plus as part of a prevention regime.Since I've used Frontline Plus on my cats I get far fewer ticks on myself and this is a big plus!Of course my cats don't have fleas either, another plus.

Frontline Plus does not work for fleas! I've been applying it every 2 weeks and 10 days after last application my cats have fleas! Had to use Capstar tabs which work wonderfully but only short term. Last year I had a flea infestation and I was using Frontine!!

Our 4 cats do not react when I use this product. Other brands have caused a distressed reaction. No fleas in our house...excellent.

Harley is 13 years old and i know we have used Frontline for the past 6 years with no problems and it does not upset the cat as with previous product used.

Love this! Works a treat, although I sometimes have to shave a spot on my hairy cats to make sure it doesnt sink into hair. I use with capstar pills.

I have tried many flea control products and this is by far the best, although I do have to used 3 sachets for it to be effective. This can get expensive with two cats. Fingers crossed, we are flea-free for the fourth day after one of my cats became very irritable due to an allergy to fleas. I also use capstar inconjunction with Frontline.

Had to change product as it's not working on my dog or cats.

This product may appear to be a little expensive, as you are required to apply it each month. Having used other products and found the cats hated the smell decided to try this one. No problems at all no irritation to skin and no smell. It works.

I've always used Frontline and it works great...the price is great with vet-n-pet, and the postage is brilliant.
