You can give NexGard Spectra from just 8 weeks of age, so make sure to pick up the pack with the correct weight range, this product is perfect for dogs between 15.1-30kg. NexGard Spectra is not affected by bathing, swimming, or shampoo which makes it the best way to protect your dog all year round.
NexGard Spectra contains Afoxolaner and Milbemycin Oxime.
Afoxolaner is used to treat and control flea and tick infestation in dogs and Milbemycin Oxime broad spectrum antiparasitic that prevents and treats internal parasites.
Flea Prevention
NexGard Spectra kills fleas on dogs fast, helping keep your dog healthy and your home flea-free. Fleas irritate your dog and can cause skin problems and even transmit disease.
It is best to prevent fleas from the start, however, if your dog does acquire them, monthly give your dog NexGard Spectra as a flea treatment for dogs and stop them from infesting your home.
Tick Prevention
With just one chew, NexGard Spectra helps protect your dog from bush ticks and brown ticks that causes paralysis tick.
Paralysis tick causes the most concern since dogs can die from the effects of toxin it injects.
Avoid life-threatening concerns with NexGard Spectra that acts as a tick repellent.
Heartworm Prevention
NexGard Spectra protects your dog from the effects of heartworm when given monthly. (A heartworm test may be required prior the start of Nexgard Spectra use. Ask your vet for more information)
Heartworm disease is spread by mosquitoes that can be found in every mainland state of Australia. And if left untreated on dogs, it can be fatal, so it's important to protect against this disease.
Intestinal Worm Prevention
NexGard Spectra protects your dog from common roundworm, hookworm and whipworm species.
Effective flea repellent with Nexgard Spectra prevents flea tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum) infestation in dogs. (If you live in a rural area, you may also need to protect against hydatid tapeworm.) Ask your vet about deworming requirements in your area.
Mite Prevention
Nexgard Spectra treats and controls demodectic mange (also called 'demodex' or 'red mange') that are red, itchy skin infection caused by demodex canis
Demodex canis are parasitic mites, shaped like a cigar with eight legs, that live in the hair follicles of dogs.

Before I started this product for my girls, they we're having to take 3 tables that due the same thing. Then change to 2 tables for the same thing. When Nexgard Spectra came out I gave it a go as it's one table a mth for all. As everything I give my animals that's new a keep an eye on them to make sure they don't have problems. At first, they threw temps, but were ok. My girls are safe and when we go anywhere, I put collars on them for add tick protection. Vet n Pet make it easy to order, to pick or have delivered if time got away on me.
Great product. My furbaby never takes medication easily, but Nexguard is a breeze to give her, and it dose all parasites.
And delivery is quick and price is good. Love it!

Very quick delivery
We simply put one dose in with the dog's dry food. It gets consumed without issue. The previous brand that we used was picked out by the dogs and refused. After a discussion with our vet, we discovered that the dogs did not need their annual heart worm injection because this was covered by NexGard Spectra. This saved us $$ which was very much appreciated. The price for this product at Vet-N-Pet Direct is considerably less than that charged by our local pet store.

Only just changed over but seems to be doing the job.
I was told to put our dogs on this when we were living in a high rain area.. they are long hair border collies! Never had a problem with ticks even though we where in a high risk area.

Just one chew does it all - fleas, ticks (now a real worry), heartworms, etc. So easy!
My vet told me i had to give my pup nexgard spectra tablets to prevent heartworm, and convinced me to buy some off them... NEARLY 100 BUCKS FOR 3 TINY TABLETS. 🙄 Was pretty ridiculous. So went online and shopped around and found vet n pet direct, it was 120 bucks for twice as many tablets (6 tablets). And free postage!! So instead of it being 33 bucks a month to worm my dog from the vet, it amounted to only 20 bucks a month to by from VnP Direct. THANKS SO MUCH!! I don't have to go broke now!!!😁😉🐕
Must be doing its job as my rescued greyhound never has any problem with fleas or ticks & we live in an area where paralysis ticks are a problem. She is happy to eat it with no problems.

Hard as a brick uncbewable
This product is awesome Not only does it keep my dog free from fleas, it keeps his itch under control and his coat is so lovely and soft.. He is very healthy and takes the medication straight from my hand .. I think he thinks its a treat.

My dog is very fussy. I was not sure if she would take take the NexGard Spectra, but she absolutely loved it!
This product is amazing in that it an easy to chew once a month treat for your pet that gives you a comfort level against all of the nasties.
Have found NexGard an excellent product fortunately I have 2 dogs that weigh nearly the same which makes purchasing easier. Labrador woofs the tablet down whole which is what Labradors do however the Labradoodle has to have them ground into a powder and smothered with chicken mince and hand fed before he will eat them. Great product
