Dog Leashes - Standard

The Black Dog Wear Smart Lead is a quality lead for everyday use. It has the added advantages of being length adjustable and enabling you to securely tether your dog to a tree or pole without unclipping the lead or tying knots in it.

Smart Leads are rated for tethering strength (see each Lead, below).

Smart Leads are length adjustable from 1.5m down to 0.8m.

Size and tethering strength (note pictures are of the Regular size lead):

• Mini:  10mm wide, mini snap hook. For dogs up to 5kg.
• Small:  19mm wide, small snap hook. For dogs 10 to 15kg.
• Regular:  25mm wide, medium snap hook. For dogs 25 to 30kg.

For training dogs on recall, or allowing dogs a roam in the park, or the beach, while still maintaining lead control. 
Folds neatly to hang conveniently from belt loop when not in use.

The Black Dog Wear Double Ended Lead is an extremely versatile lead. It can be used as a temporary tether or to connect from a harness to collar etc.

Care should always be exercised when tethering a dog, to make sure the dog is safe and supervised, that pathways are not restricted by the tethered dog (not all people are comfortable near dogs) and keep in mind that an agitated dog could easily chew through any lead to escape.

The Black Dog Wear Plain Lead is for those trainers wanting a high quality basic lead. 

Black Dog Leads are constructed from brushed polyester webbing and are sewn with polyester thread. They are comfortable to hold and are very strong.

Black Dog Leads are easily washed and are resistant to rot.

All Black Dog leads are fitted with high quality snap hooks and buckles to create resilient, robust leads, to ensure comfort and security for years of dog walking.

The Black Dog Wear Tracking Lead is 11metres long & features a medium snap hook and conventional loop handle end.

The standard length of a Tracking Lead is 10 metres - Black Dog give you the extra length to accommodate some people's preference to tie knots at set lengths along their lead.

This Tracking Lead is made with 20mm webbing and designed to fold neatly, with a securing loop to hold it together and stop it getting all tangled when not in use.

The Black Dog 1.2m Training Lead is colour fast and completely washable.

 To keep the lead looking like new, wash regularly to remove salt buildup in moving parts .
