I had to replace my old Tuff toy spider after 5 years of wrestling with our Staffy. So these toys are well worth the initial outlay. It's the only toy I would buy.
This is a really cute toy but did not last long. My dog had the top layer of the fabric off in no time. The squaker was out by day 2. Wouldn't buy again.
Our Bernese Mountain Dog has enjoyed all his Tuffie Toys to date and the starfish was no exception. Another quality Tuffie toy with the BMD seal of approval.
I've had this for some months now and there's still no no damage to it. My smaller dog (JR terrier x CKC spaniel) likes this more than my bigger dog (Staffy X GR) so perhaps that's why. She finds it hard to make the squeaker work but she still likes to run around with it regularly. Perhaps it's a bit big for a dog that weighs about 5kg?
The General - Throw it and your dog will love bringing it back. This "Super Starfish" won't hurt your dog when thrown and is definitely backyard approved.
The Starfish is a colourful, fun toy that your dog will enjoy fetching and chasing. The Starfish is equipped with a squeaker that will last for hours of fun and is also easy to toss and it floats, too! Tuff Scale Rating of 5.
Measurements: 26.5cm diameter x 6.5cm thick
Construction: Each toy is made with two layers of industrial grade nylon, and one layer of soft fleece on the outside. All of the layers are sewn together to make one super strong layer of material. Each toy is sewn together with 2 layers of linear stitching. After the toy is sewn together an additional piece of black nylon trim is added to cover the four rows of stitching. This extra piece of nylon is sewn with 3 linear stitches to give the product a total of 7 seams! Now that’s one tough toy!
Each toy is washable (air dry) and they float!
(Not Recommended for extremely tough chewers. The Ultimate series toys will work best for them.)
