Drontal is recommended for the control of all gastrointestinal worms in dogs including roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and tapeworm (including hydatid tapeworm).
Drontal is a tablet formulation of three distinctly different proven drugs offering the broadest spectrum of activity. The febantel/pyrantel combination is active against roundworms and hookworms and is highly effective against whipworms. Praziquantel provides a superb level of efficiency against all the major tapeworms.

Use once monthly unless you notice a re-infestment this can perhaps happen when the animal is walked outside your premises or even from it's own yard when wandering animals such as cats pass through the yard. The fact that it is so reliable and does not upset the animal's stomach. I have never found anything that displeases me about this worm tablet.

Much cheaper than buying from the vet. Only problem is my Chihuahua is 3āā āĆā_ kilos so had to give 1āā āĆā_ tablets as was not sure what else to do. the 10 kilo tablets are far too large and nothing is for my size dog.Joan

Would the Drontal Allwormer for large dogs be suitable to give to a 10kg and a 40kg dog?

The drontal large dog tablets are one tablet per 35kg bodyweight.
You can give your 10kg dog 1/2 a tablet but you will need to give the 40kg dog 1&1/2 tablets.
