Fido's Pet Care

Fido's Fre-Itch Rinse Concentrate is for flea, lice and tick control (including the paralysis tick). It is a low odour, water based formulation suitable for use in a hydrobath, rinse, dip or spray.

COMPOSITION:
10g/L Pyrethrins, 18g/L Piperonyl butoxide, 30g/L N-Octyl

Indications:
Fleas (Ctenocephalides spp) and lice (Trichodectes canis and Heterodoxus spp), ticks including the paralysis tick (Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Ixodes holocyclus) and prevents attachment for up to 3 days on dogs and cats. Controls lice on ornamental caged birds and rodents.

For use in hydrobaths. Because of the almost complete absence of organic solvents this product will not damage the pump mechanism of hydrobaths. The vapour is considerably less toxic to the operator than conventional organophosphates.

WARNINGS
In paralysis tick areas, inspect dogs and cats daily.

Directions for use:
Dilute before use. Make up freshly before use.
For dogs, cats, puppies, kittens & rodents: Mix 8mL of concentrate with 800mL of warm water (40mL to 4L) and dip, swab, sponge or spray dog or cat with this solution until thoroughly soaked. Avoid contact with pets eyes. Allow animal to dry naturally. Puppies and kittens should be towelled dry to prevent chilling. For best results do not rinse off. The suggested treatment for continuous paralysis tick control is to rinse the animal according to label direction once every 3 days.

Zone control: To aid the control of flea infestations, bedding should be changed or sprayed with this product when diluted and allowed to dry. Areas frequented by the pet should also be treated with this product (when diluted) when necessary.

For ornamental cage birds: Mix 2mL of concentrate with 200mL water and use this solution in a clean pump spray. Adjust spray to fine, and spray bird lightly all over ruffling the feathers to allow spray to penetrate to skin. Avoid contact with pets eye. Allow bird to dry naturally in a warm place to prevent chilling. Repeat as necessary.

Fido's Flea Shampoo is a  mild formulation which will not irritate even the most sensitive skins. It has been especially prepared to clean, kill fleas, and produce a soft lustrous coat, and to reduce animal odours.

COMPOSITION 
Pyrethrins 1g/L, Piperonyl butoxide 10g/L.

ACTIONS
The natural pyrethrins, which have no anti-cholinesterase activity, act in insects by slowly closing the sodium channel activation gate causing hyperexcitation followed by convulsion and death. They are synergised by piperonyl butoxide, which has a minor repellant action in its own right.

INDICATIONS
Fleas and lice on cats and dogs.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Use in sick or convalescing animals.

WARNINGS
In paralysis tick areas daily examination of dogs and cats is desirable. May cause dribbling and unsteady gait in cats. If one or both occur wipe off excess product and contact a veterinarian.

PRECAUTIONS
Use with caution on puppies and kittens.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Wet the coat thoroughly with warm water and apply FIDO'S FLEA SHAMPOO at several places. Work into a good lather and massage well into the coat. Leave for 5 minutes, them rinse with clean warm water and dry thoroughly.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Wet the animal thoroughly with clean water. Apply Topizole Medicated Shampoo to the animal at several points and massage into the coat. A sponge assists lathering and penetration of shampoo into the coat. Ensure that Topizole Medicated Shampoo is applied around the lips, under the tail and between the toes as these areas harbour causative organisms. Leave shampoo on the animal for 10 minutes then rinse off thoroughly with clean water. Repeat twice weekly until symptoms abate, then weekly or as directed by your veterinary surgeon.

50 mL of Topizole Medicated Shampoo would be adequate to treat a 30 kg, medium hair length dog and 7-10 mL of Topizole Medicated Shampoo would be adequate for an adult cat.

Fido's Fresh Coat Spray is a cologne coat conditioner and deodorant spray for dogs and cats. The cologne leaves your pet smelling great.

Fido's Fresh Coat Spray contains lanolin and silicone to condition and de-tangle the coat. It can be used on dry or wet coats and is suitable for dogs, cats and other furry animals. It provides a finishing touch after hydrobathing.

Fido's Fresh Coat Spray is suitable for use with long term flea control products.

Directions for Use: Apply to a dry or wet coat. Ruffle the coat and spray a fine mist from 25 to 30cm until slightly damp. Brush the coat back into place and allow to dry. Do not spray near pet's eyes.
