The Vet charges double for these collars. Vet-n-pet have them for the cheapest on the internet. I buy from only them, as they have stock and are reasombly priced. Would recommend them to others to buy from. Freight is cheap as well.

Got one for the dog, but also for goats as it helps stop lice too. Very happy with these collars and the price is great. Not a pretend flea/tick collar, it actually works!

Living in a rural area and having two very active and adventurous dogs that are constantly exposed to Fleas and Paralysis, Brown & Scrub ticks every day, all year round. We use Kiltix collars on our dogs in conjunction with a regular parasite wash because this product does NOT break or come off and helps in the prevention of all four parasites in particular Brown ticks and they are strong and last a long time. Even in the summer when the dogs are often in the water.

We live in an area thick with Scub Ticks, We have been using this product for many years with sucsess,but a few months ago,I forgot to mark the date for new collars on the callender and my older dog had 2 large Scrub Ticks attatched. We rushed her to the vet who thankfully saved her life. So please don't go over the 6 week period if you live in a known Scrub Tick area. I still trust this product.

What happens if my dogs accidentally licks the collar

Thank you for your Question.

If your dogs are excessively licking one another's collars I would recommend you use a different tick prevention.
If it is a one off lick the dog should be fine.

Side effects of Flumethrin and Propoxur from the collar are uncommon.
The side effects may occur due to accidental ingestion of the collar, use with other organophosphate based products or unexpected sensitivity.
Signs may include vomiting, diarrhoea, salivation, lethargy and neurologic signs (weakness, paralysis).
If your dog is showing any of the above symptoms please seek immediate Veterinary advice.

Nexgard, Bravecto and Simparica are all very effective oral preventatives.

They are only registered for use on dogs.
I am unable to give off label advice.
