About this item

Now this fly catcher is a real gem! Just like the old-days of fly catchers. Pull the tab on one of the rolls, and out comes a plastic-topped thumb tack, and 65cm of 4cm wide very sticky ribbon. Pull gently to prevent tearing. Tack the end up and let the tape hang free. Dump when populated or getting dry.

This non-toxic device features a very sticky glue surface which traps flies as soon as they land on it. As flies are caught on the device, even more of them come in to land, seeing it as a fine spot.

These fly catchers are especially effective in areas with high air movement which are difficult to control with aerosols and like products. Catcher glue is food safe.

Note: Fly catchers are not suitable in very dusty areas. To remove glue from hands or clothes, use some vegetable oil.

Ineffective

Left them out for a week hanging where we sit outside. Zero catch even though we were being pestered by flies. Put a piece of meat on strip. Caught two flies, both of which managed to free themselves.

Fly Strips

This product did a great job at helping eliminate quite a few fly's that spraying wasn't working. Having a young child and animals in the house means I don't have to spray chemicals around them. I remember my grandparents using them when i was growing up and have used them plenty of times over the years.

NO go for fly strips.

With great hope i hung the product hoping to kill flies.... Sadly NOT ONE fly landed on the sticky tape and died. Not worth the postage Im afraid.
