Kohnke's Own CAL-Xtra is a concentrated calcium and bone mineral supplement formulated to support horses grazing on high oxalate pastures, as well as growing horses and horses in training. It provides calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium in an optimum ratio to help maintain healthy bone development and mineral balance.

CAL-Xtra is specifically designed for horses grazing tropical grasses and other high oxalate pastures where oxalate compounds can bind calcium and reduce its absorption. Feeding Tip

Mix CAL-Xtra thoroughly into the hard feed once daily. For horses grazing tropical grasses or high oxalate pastures, feeding hard feed and lucerne or legume hay in a yard, stable, or feed bin may help maximise the benefits of calcium supplementation.
