UniVet Bead Litter Urine Sample Kit for Cats 200g

I use an enclosed litter box (flap removed). I put the tray with the litter beads inside the litter box, it was just the right size to fit perfectly. Eventually my cat used it, though it took a while. Makes life so much easier. I didn't throw out the beads, but followed instructions on washing in bucket of soapy water , sieving them and rinsing well. I then poured them into a fine colander/sieve and placed in the sun on my balcony, stirring occasionally to help dry them out.

Neither of my cats would go near them. It's also a ridiculously small amount for putting in a litter tray.

I agree with the previous reviewer who questioned how many of these beads end up flushed down the toilet.

Made getting a sample so much easier. My cat was hesitant to use it but with added shredded plastic bag on top of the beads he eventually went and I could easily obtain a sample.

Was pleased to be able to order and receive this product so easily although I have not used am relieved to have on hand for emergency collection of samples.

Excellent price! I’ve paid a fortune at a vet for literally a tablespoon! Bought this as it was such a good price to keep in my cat medication arsenal.

Was given these by my vet. I can only imagine how many people rinse these tiny micro beads of plastic down the drain once they have collected their samples. Their use should be banned. I’m sure a small amount of shredded paper would do the same job.
