Directions for Use

When introducing 4Cyte Equine to your horse start on 1/4 scoop mixed with feed, slowly increase over the first 5 days.

If you are using 4Cyte preventively, the maintenance dose is 1/2 scoop (10.5g) per day.

For horses following surgery or with symptoms of poor joint function it is recommended in the first 4 weeks to feed 1 scoop (21g) per day.

This ensures good levels of active ingredients accumulate in the affected joints in a shorter period of time.

After 4 weeks you can reduce the dose to the maintenance dose of 1/2 scoop daily.

If mixing with feed is not possible, crush the granules and blend with palatable binder such as molasses and administer orally.

I love dealing with vet n pet direct. The staff are always so helpful. However it would be nice for another free postage option other than sendle. As I live in a rural area they pass my parcel onto another courier to deliver. It normally tales about 14 days for the parcel to reach me so that prevents me from ordering if I need something fairly urgent. I have had issues with the 3rd party courier throwing my parcel into the gutter right near me letter box. I then complained to sendle and the next parcel (same size) was jammed so tight it actually broke the door of the letterbox and it took me sometime to get it out.. Other than that vet n pet are great

first time use

I have given this 4 stars and not 5 only because I have been using it for my horse for just 3 weeks. He had a severe tear of his deep digital flexor and while that has healed well, he has developed athritis in the knee above. I have seen and felt a big difference while riding in his ease of movement and can only put it down to the 4CYTE.

Works great for my elderly dogs

So far so good

Purchased on recommendation for a pacer with soreness and ligament problems. Can't say specifically if it works as he started a new training regime at the same time. Swimming and treadmill. Has raced virtually weekly for last 2 months without obvious problems. Something is working.

I was recommended 4cyte by my vet for an 21yo gelding with chronic arthritis (and now Cushings). We are now on our second tub - his coat has softened and reddened in colour. Hard to judge the affect on his arthritis as he has had other problems causing lameness, but certainly his coat has improved.

We have only just started using this product on our vet's recommendation for our dressage horse. It is easy to use but not sure yet how effective it is as we probably haven't been using it long enough yet to comment.

Appears to be working

My cutting mare was lame with arthritis in her knee. I am using 4Cyte in conjunction with fortnightly Pentosane injections and we are competing again. We avoided injections and hopefully prolonged an operation. I did have trouble with her liking the product but she is on the maintenance dose now and I just put a dash of molasses in the feed.

Hi, My dog is taking 4Cyte canine and my Vet told me the 4Cyte for horses, 4CYTE Horse Joint Treatment Granules, is precisely the same granules as for dogs (dosage is different of course) She suggested that I buy the horse-size container (700g) to get it in bulk. I am just checking that this is the case and that she is correct in advising me that they are the same granules I am buying for my dog, I just use the spoon measure that I have for my dog, (currently buying in the canine 100g packets)?
