K9JF comes packaged in powder form (ready to mix with your dog's food) in a handy 500 gram bucket.
Application:
1 teaspoon < 10 kg dog weight
1.5 teaspoons < 30 kg dog weight
2 teaspoons < 50 kg dog weight
TuffRock K9 Joint Formulae is best applied once per day on the main meal. Senior dogs may require their ration twice a day depending on individual cases.
K9JF is highly palatable, designed to complement all K9 diets and contains no products of animal origin, no seafood, no drugs, no heavy chemicals etc.
K9JF is GRAS (Generally Regarded as Safe), non-toxic & non-hazardous to dogs or people.

Great product. Certainly an improvement in my beautiful dog.
I have been using this product for over 2 years now, after our dog was diagnosed with having damaged both Cruciate ligaments in her hind legs. We were unable to perform surgery as she is unable to be restrained easily so this product was recommended and now she is back to full health and shows little sign of her previous inability to walk. We still give it daily to ensure her ongoing care.
Our 6 year old border collie/kelpie cross never slows down! A few years ago he was on pain killers for his shoulder which took ages to heal and more recently he was very stiff in his back leg. Is k9 joint formula suitable for miniature dachshunds to help prevent IVDD

The Tuffrock K9 Joint Formulae is a joint supplement. It is for supporting healthy joints.
Intervertebral disk disease (IVDD) disease occurs when the intervertebral disks, the shock absorbers between the vertebrae of the spinal column, bulge or burst, becoming herniated.
I am not sure if it would be suitable to help prevent IVDD.
I would check with your Vet.
