In late 2020 International Animal Health began rebranding their product which was formerly known as Protexin to a new name "ProN8ure".

Stress, in all forms is one of the major causes of disruption to the normal balance of microflora in the gut, allowing proliferation of pathogens. Loss of appetite, picky eating, scouring, poor condition and changes in temperament are some of the less consequences. Stress is easily induced with some common causes being: changes in diet, heavy work or training, temperature extremes, breeding, transportation, worming, vaccinations and changes to environment. Use of ProN8ure in these circumstances protects horses from negative intestinal changes while improving digestive efficiency and general health.

Antibiotics are particularly harmful to gut microflora, leaving animals susceptible to re-infection. ProN8ure should always be administered following any course of antibiotics.

The digestive system plays a vital role in the health, vigour and performance of horses. Its correct functioning is dependent on the level and balance of bacteria and yeasts called microflora. Microflora have the major role in breaking down indigestible nutrients, in the synthesis and absorption of vitamins and minerals, in stimulating the immune system and in preventing the proliferation of pathogens in the gut.

Foals are born with a sterile gut which is rapidly colonised by both beneficial and pathogenic bacteria. A fine balance exists which can easily be disrupted, leading to scouring, ill thrift and other problems. Feeding ProN8ure from birth protects the foal from pathogens, improves digestive efficiency, enables better utilisation of feed and makes the transition from milk to solid feed easier.

All horses benefit from ProN8ure's ability to stabilise intestinal microflora, maximise gut health and resist the effects of stress.

DOSAGE:
Dose at stress levels for the first 5 days and then dose at maintenance levels. Stress level dose may need to be continued for longer if necessary.

KILVERM Oral Drench contains Levamisole, a member of the imidazothiazole (clear) group of drenches, is effective in cattle and sheep against levamisole-susceptible strains of the following species

– Mature and immature Barber’s pole worm (Haemonchus spp)
– Stomach hairworm (Trichostrongylus axel)
– Thin necked intestinal worm (Namatodirus spp)
– Strongyloides Nodule and large bowel worm (Oesophagostomum spp)

KILVERM is READY TO USE and requires no mixing, stirring or shaking.

Check the accuracy of drenching equipment before and during drenching.

The solution passes readily through all types of automatic drenching guns. Wash out drenching equipment with water after use.

Dose Rate for Sheep: 2.5mL per 10kg bodyweight

The heaviest sheep in a mob should be weighed. Dose the mob to the heaviest animal in each group (e.g. ewes, rams, lambs). Do not under-dose. Sheep in excess of 80kg should be treated at the rate of 2.5mL/10kg bodyweight.

Dose Rate for Cattle: 10mL per 45kg bodyweight

Dose the mob to the heaviest animal in each group (e.g. cows, bulls, calves). Do not under-dose.

Cattle in excess of 675kg should be treated at the rate of 10mL per 45kg bodyweight.

WITHHOLDING PERIODS:
MEAT: DO NOT USE less than 3 days before slaughter for human consumption.
MILK: NIL

Resistance may develop to any drench. It is recommended that a drench resistant test is conducted before use, and a parasite management practice and drenching programmes in your area be discussed with your local veterinary practitioner.

This product is contraindicated in dogs or horses.

Precautions: 
Exercise care in handling weak, pregnant and young animals to avoid unnecessary stress.

Avoid yarding animals off-feed overnight, and ensure animals have access to water when yarded prior to drenching.

Friskiness, of short duration, minutes after treatment, maybe be seen in some animals.

Recommended dose should not be exceeded except under veterinary supervision.

The Sheep Restrainer is suitable for lambing, foot trimming, transportation, health checks and many other uses.

There are two sizes available which make the restraining device suitable for lambs, sheep, goats and calves.

Instructions (also included on the packaging):


1. Firmly hold the animal and place the animal on its side. With one hand, hook the restrainer under the front leg and then pull the restrainer over the neck while pushing the animals head towards the brisket.


2. Hold the other leg and place into the other side of the restrainer.


3. Place the cord under the neck of the animal and secure the holders at the end of cord in the slots provided. The cord must be held firm around the neck, but not too tight. The cord can be adjusted using the knots or securing the cord around the end holders.

Ausmectin Sheep Drench is a Broad Spectrum oral antiparasitic solution for control and treatment of ivermectin sensitive internal parasites including roundworms, nasal bot and itchmite of sheep.

AUSMECTIN SHEEP DRENCH contains ivermectin, a member of the macrocyclic lactone class of chemicals, which has a unique mode of action. It acts selectively in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells resulting in paralysis and death of the parasite. Therefore, AUSMECTIN SHEEP DRENCH has been used for the control and treatment of ivermectin-sensitive gastrointestinal roundworms in sheep, including benzimidazole, levamisole and morantel resistant strains of Haemonchus contortus (Barber's Pole Worm), Ostertagia circumcincta and Trichostrongylus colubriformis. It is also effective against lungworm (Dictyocaulus filaria), itchmite (Psorergates ovis) and all parasitic larval stages of nasal bot (Oestrus ovis) in sheep. Ivermectin has a long intrinsic half-life, which provides excellent residual protection against parasitic reinfestation for a varying period depending on the target parasite. 

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Administer orally using any standard drenching equipment or any equipment that provides a consistent dose volume. Dose and equipment should be checked before drenching commences.

The dose rate is 1 mL per each 4 kg bodyweight.

WITHHOLDING PERIODS:
MEAT: DO NOT USE less than 10 days before slaughter for human consumption.
MILK: DO NOT USE on lactating ewes or within 28 days of lambing where milk or milk products may be used for human consumption.

Flukazole C Plus Selenium is for the control of benzimidazole-sensitive mature and immature roundworms, lungworms, tapeworms and early immature (including 2-week old fluke), immature and mature liver fluke (Fasciola hepatica) in cattle and sheep. It is also an aid in controlling selenium deficiencies.

Nutrimol is a liquid mineral supplement which contains fine and pure seaweed extracts, copper, zinc and magnesium chelates.

Nutrimol contains over 60 essential trace elements, minerals and amino acids, with molasses added to increase palatability. It is a nutritional package ideal for all animals including horses, sheep, beef, dairy, alpacas, lamas, ostriches, deer and poultry.

USAGE:

Mix 1L Nutrimol with every 15,000L of drinking water, continual use.

Nutrimol Nutritional Supplement is a liquid preparation suitable for increasing the mineral intake of livestock, in particular Copper, Zinc and Magnesium. It is a combination of Maxicrop Seaweed Extract, Molasses, Copper-, Zinc- and Magnesium chelates. It is suitable for use when it is desired to increase the mineral and trace element intake of stock.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Administer Nutrimol at the recommended rates and timings. Rates are based on an average sized animal. Where a significantly larger or smaller animal is to be treated, administer on a pro-rata weight to dose basis.

For general use, where daily rates are not practical, administer fortnightly to improve animal health and monthly to maintain animal condition.

For more specific uses, administer Nutrimol to young animals during periods of rapid growth and/or physical stress. Likewise, with older stock, use Nutrimol at important reproductive or production stages of the year and for times of physical stress when adequate mineral intake is vital.

Nutrimol can be drenched, added to drinking water (trough systems) or poured over feed. Introduce Nutrimol to stock gradually.

When adding to a water trough, leave the water source turned on so that the Nutrimol dilutes with time. Add more Nutrimol when the required time interval has passed.

Nutrimol will be of assistance when used in programs aimed at:

*Alleviating vitamin and mineral deficiencies, especially magnesium, iodine, selenium, copper and zinc.

*Increasing resistance to certain diseases, promoting better utilisation of feed.

*Reducing the incidence of scouring and birthing abnormalities.

*Assisting recovery from stress.

*Preparation for conception, pregnancy, birth, shows and sale.

Dosage and Administration:

For use as a quarantine drench, treat all animals on arrival, or ideally at farm of origin, and hold in yards for at least 24 hours before release. For use in a strategic worm control program, speak to an animal health advisor or veterinarian.

Administer orally. Check accuracy of the drench equipment before and during use. A representative sample of animals should be weighed before treatment. Dose the mob to the heaviest animal by liveweight in each group (ewes, wethers, rams, lambs). Do not underdose. Where there is a large variation in size within the group, dose rate should be based on the label directions for each weight range. Drafting into two or more lines may be appropriate to avoid excessive overdosing.
